A week has passed. Yet the same confusion, the same situation! Kastur is behaving normal. Neither she makes me irritated nor she asks me lots of questions. That's what I actually wanted, right? Then why am I feeling so weird as if something is not right? What is not right? What is happening?

In the middle of the night, I was in deep down in thoughts for finding answers of different questions arriving in my mind, but there are simply no answers. Sighing, I adjusted myself in a sitting position. Turning back, I saw Kastur peacefully sleeping on the couch. Unknowingly my lips curved in a slight smile. When I realized it, I wondered what so special in her that made me smile. Again, no answers!

"Room mein paani kyu nahi hai.", I said in my desperateness of my thirst.

"Kuch chahiye aapko?", Kastur woke up and asked me casually.

"Woh.. paani!", I said hesitantly.

Kastur smiled sweetly making me amazed. "Abhi laati hu." she said and started walking towards the door.

"Kastur", I called out to her.

"Haan!", she said and turned back facing me.

"Main tumhe samajh kyu nahi paa raha hu?", I asked helplessly.

"Matlab?", She confusedly asked.

"Matlab ki main tumhe samajh nahi paa raha hu. Kyun aise ho raha hai? I don't know.. I just can't understand!", I said getting so much confused and baffled.

"Jyada sochkar khud ko aur thakaaiye mat. Main paani lekar aati hu.", Kastur said gently and turned to the door again.

"Kastur, tum pehele jaisi nahi rahi.", I stated seriously and Kastur froze her steps. Perhaps she knew what I said was true.

"Aisi koi baat nahi hai Mohanji!", She said but didn't turn back. I walked up to her and stood right behind her. Holding her arm, I turned her around.

Our eyes met. I was looking for the glimpse of joy in her eyes, but I failed. Her eyes were filled with emptiness.

"Kastur, please aise mat raho. Mujhe accha nahi lag raha.", I requested her.

She looked down, maybe to avoid eye-lock with me. "Mohanji, aapko pyaas lagi hai, main paani lekar aati hu.", She said and was trying to get out from my grip but couldn't do anything.

"Kastur, I can't see u like this. Please be like before! Be the way you actually are.", I requested her again in a caring, soft voice.

"Main theek hu.", She said plainly and still avoided to look at me.

I was getting anxious now. "Damn u aren't alright.", I angrily said, held her arms as tight as I can and pulled her towards me. She looked into my eyes. Her eyes were teary. I realized that I was hurting her, so immediately I moved back. What did I just do? I thought and got surprised with myself.

Kastur went out of the room in hurry. I sat on my bed in a baffled state. Suddenly some memories flashed in my mind... the light, cute moments I passed with Kastur, especially when she told me about her past, which was actually made up by her, so that she could know my past. I shook my head and laughed a little.

Again her thoughts made me happy. What the heck! What was I getting into? I was questioning myself, just then; Kastur arrived with a glass of water and gave it to me. I quietly drank the water and put it on the side-table. She was walking back to the couch.

"Bed pe so jaao.", I said normally.

"Par main kaise..." she said.

I stood up and went close to her, close enough to make her feel my breath.

"Kyuki tum meri wife ho!", I said with a stern look. She was astonished for a moment.

She lowered her eyes. "Mohanji, aap fikar mat kijiye. Main couch par theek hu.", She said to make me feel better. But I was damn adamant on my words.

"U r gonna sleep on bed, thats it!", I titled her chin up and said looking intensely in her eyes. Just then I felt a tiny pinch in my heart. Her eyes were so painful! She lost her bubbly nature because of me. But I didn't love her and I couldn't do anything about it. I couldn't forcefully make myself love her. But I couldn't see her in that state either. What should I do then?

Before Kastur would say something, I pulled her in a hug. She was taken aback in shock. "Mohanji, aap..." She was about to say but cutting off her statement, I said, "Kastur, I know ki tum mere vajah se udaas ho. I'm the reason of your emptiness. But please try to understand. Main khud ko force nahi kar sakta tumhe pyaar karne ke liye, and believe me, I do care for u and I can't see u so quiet. Mujhe meri pehele wali biwi vapas chahiye. Please.", I said and hoped inwardly for a positive response.

She hugged me back and sniffed. Damn she was crying! I broke the hug and looked at her. "Kya yaar kastur, itna samjhaane ke baad bhi tum ro kyun rahi ho?", I asked, making a pout.

"Pata nahi!", She said cutely and suddenly broke in a smile which was genuine. I smiled and threatened her jokingly, "Agar phir se rona shuru kia toh main kaano mein headphones ghusa dunga."

She laughed. With her, I broke in a laugh and hugged her again. After we broke our hug.. "Sone chale? Bohot neend aa rahi hai.", I said and yawned. Kastur nodded.

"Aur haan, tum bed par sougi.", I strictly told her, and she sweetly smiled and said, "Theek hai." We both laid down on bed and for a final time, exchanging sweet smiles at each other and wishing each other a good night, we slept.

I was trying to be formal😉 but theek hai bidzben u want informal comments toh ye le...full on bindaas tha bachi,👍🏼 mera Mohan dil se abhi bhi champu hai 😳...kitna pyara hai n even in confused state u made him follow "either my way or the highway" principle 🤣 🤣 🤣 good...n the best thing ki tune extra melodrama add nhi kara 😉...jaa aaj tere sapne mein baap jee nhi ritesh aaye 🤣 🤣 🤣

Awesome, bidz.👏..ttly believable...I am fully expecting Mohan to confront K on this issue again...its eating at him...if he does it the way you have portrayed, I can't imagine what will happen to this forum...😳😳

Forum mein bhuchaal aa jayega for sure 😆 BTW It's just what I want to take place in the future episodes and I hope CVs would do fulfill our hope, though I'm not at all expecting cuz the CVs don't give us what we expect 😕 Anyways, thank you so much 🤗
