1] Describe HTTP. the word i type almost thousand times a day.. in my comp. ok it stands for hyper text transfer protocol.. used to view webpages over net

2] What is a balanced tree? A tree whose left n right subtrees r of same height

3] Where is data stored in database?.. in tables...(can't think of anything more funny than that). Its stored in the system similar to the way files r stored.. However the data in database is stores as records.. These records r made up of segments which in turn r made up of fields

4] What is Virtual Memory? which is always low in my system. this is implemented when RAM has insufficient memory.. So the OS maps the virtual address to the real storage address

5] You are working with graphic translations. Which layer of the OSI model is responsible for code formatting and conversion and graphic standards.

1. Network layer
2. Session layer
3. Transport layer
4. Presentation layer

its the presentation layer....

i have discussed most of the points here.. anyway... sanyo was prithvi's 7th wife.. n there is no koteshwar yatra in raso

around 90%.. bcos chand was not only a court poet.. he was a close friend of prithvi.. so he knows the accurate details.. 10%.. i feel chand might exaggerate a little... so cannot believe such things

What are some ways to eliminate world poverty?
education - the best way.. everything else will fall in place correctly then

Many economists say that putting down all trade barriers is the best way to get 10s of millions of people out of poverty, how much do you agree with this statement?
well.. i feel a little bit of trade barriers is necessary. Liberalisation of economy has helped us a lot.. however v shld be careful that it does not affect our domestic industries. Once our domestic economy is strong enough.. or if it will not create any problems for our domestic industry.. then trade barrierr can be removed for those items.. like s/w industry in india
