Maybe I'm in the minority

I'm sick and tired of shows where the female lead has to be absolutely perfect. All her decisions have to be correct. She has to be completely moralistic all the time. It's too much. I think the aim of the show is to show a woman who is not necessarily likable, but relatable. Women grapple with these kinds of situations. We are expected to be correct all the time. I mean, come on. We're human. We make mistakes that are toxic and creates difficulties for us. When I'm viewing the show, the current track especially, I don't think the makers are glorifying extra-marital affairs. Rather they are creating a discussion around the topic, and in my opinion are showing the reality of what actually happens in these circumstances. Not everything is melodramatic in life. I do think they are showing that it is a wrong thing that Dipika and Vikrant are doing. Dipika, a person who is usually confident about her decisions, is grappling with this one. If she was totally behind going back to Vikrant, she would've been all in completely. A major clue is with the makers showing how Vikrant behaves behind Dipika's back. Plus, background music is also a clue.

Do not want to offend, just create a discussion.

I agree with your post and I am open to exploring your version and seeing how the makers deal with it. I think I mentioned in some other post that Deepika is just a normal human being and she loves Vikarant a lot and did not love anyone else so for her to want him is not wrong- not denying the fact that he is still married. Vikrant is trying to sort this mess out and from what we make out is that Aditi despite knowing about the husband did not oppose any of it- which is also wrong. Like I said I am open to exploring this side as well

For me I am all for a flawed FL. I am sick and tired of mahaan FLs of ITV.

But my problem comes with duration of this track. That has completely taken over the original premise and that's now really irritating. Plus I can imagine Deepika's dilemma no one is saying She cannot love her ex but how she has completely lost track of her 'dream' for which she has fought against all and for so long is hard to digest sometimes

This is what i was trying to say in my post... we all take wtong decisions in personal or professional life. .. we realise our mistakes overcome that or sometimes it is too late to correct it.. it is life and nothing is perfect in anyone's life... we sld ask ourselves r we perfect daughter, son, dil, bil....?..answer is a big no... so why deepika sld be perfect..isnt she human? She was shown different from the beginning..if she was itv beti.. she wlnt have left her parents..

Totally agree , makers did great job by showing everyone in gray light thankfully. was sick with white and black theorey of Indian telly series.

This show showcase the issue waht people face but generally consider it taboo to discuss.

What I beleive , Aditi and Vikrant both are wrong

Aditi wasted 10 years knowingly everything that V doesn't love him and he is a main reason why they fail to become parent .

I have seen few people around that marry knowingly they in relationship what is loveless and painful

It's good they are discussing, People should move out of such marriage and society should accept

Vikrant should have divorce her earlier and should have not married at first.

He ruine life of 3 people including him...

Let see now how maker will unfold the story further...

If they are showing Vipika then simultaneously they should Show Aditi to get perfect matched and happy ending.

That will be treat to watch

I am all in for a different show from the norm.

But we cannot forget that we have a Desi DNA, the way Girls and Boys, shame and Marriages etc work, try as we may to try to break that mould of the perfect Daughter, Bhu etc, morality is still there with what is right and wrong and way our behaviour will impact our Families etc not just in the present but the future as well, not only the person concerned but Families as well for Years to come.

I too liked it in the beginning a good Medical drama etc so different from the normal dramas which I watch.

But in reality what is hard to swallow is the 360* change in Deepika in the last few episodes, from her lectures etc to being a willing Mistress to the very Person who She rejected 10 Years ago as he was controlling and dominating Person, broke the impending Marriage just days before, broke her Parents and Family's trust, who never recovered from the shame and the Father carried the burden till his death.

After hearing about Abhay supposed Affair, She told Sia that all Men are Jerks.

Tells Vikrant to have a baby and save his Marriage and will not be the other Woman.

What happened to her dreams and ethics, does She want to throw them all away for the controlling and dominating Vikrant who She rejected 10 Years ago. He still has not changed but She has and will once again bring shame and drama to her Family by breaking up Vikrant Marriage, that She willing walked away from 10 years.

Apparently 10 Years has not given her any maturity but She is living in cloud coo coo land that She can not see the snake that Vikrant is.
