Well, I had to scoure several posts to find this one written by you 3 days ago... I think Devi Parvati's contempt for Jalandhar stems from his committing the unforgivable offence of kidnapping her when she was in an ostensibly vulnerable state, trying to regain her memory...
In contrast, Lohitang was manipulated and his mind poisoned by a vile Andhak when he was just a little child, unable to tell right from wrong... So whatever atrocities he committed, he didn't do it just to destroy the Trinity and establish himself as superior to them... According to him, he was only avenging the deaths of Aadi ,Andhak, Shankachud and Tulsi, all of which he deemed unfair... Jalandhar, on the other hand, started out by avenging his mother's vicious death at the hands of an insecure Indra, hence he was justified in dethroning him and taking his place after vilifying him... He lost the plot thereafter and went on to challenge the trinity only to soothe his massively inflated ego... Lohitang held the trinity directly responsible for the misfortunes that befell him in his lifetime... Jalandhar's war was never supposed to be directly with the trinity... Yet he tried to use parvati as leverage in his battle with mahadev... When Andhak set his lustful eyes upon Parvati, she retorted by taking on the Mahakali avatar... She probably would've killed him had Mahadev not intervened in the battle to save his life and give him a second chance... If someone compares Andhak with Jalandhar, i'll definitely side with Jalandhar 'cause he was a saint compared to Andhak and absolutely deserved a second chance to start life afresh...
But if you compare Jalandhar with Lohitang, I think Lohitang gets the upper hand...

As disgusted as i am with the impertinence of the makers for showing highly distorted versions of certain stories in the show, I seek consolation in the fact that almost all of them have met a plausible end (except of course, the sati rahasya track... Forget the end, even the premise on which it was based and the way it began and progressed made no sense to me whatsoever...)

@bold... but Jalandhar had realised his faults had'nt he..?? so wat was the real point of keeping this grudge form Parvati's side... even Naarad had a sad face when Jalandhar was dying..but wat Parvati had on her face contempt coupled with extreme vanity and this is somethng that none of us associate with a Jagatmata...

nd Lohitaang was simply privileged..!! it seemed that Mahadev had learnt how to deal with his anshes post his disasterous relationship beginning with Jalandhar ( I am talking abt the accidental sons)

Moreover it would be a change to see Rajnikantish Parvati rather than the elusive Manmohan Singh+Professor Binns like Mahadev😛
As far as KK is concerned, there was hardly much role for Shiva to play.So the bias towards one entity is pretty much ruled out.On contrary,Meenakshi and Annapurna stories have given Shiva a bit more significance even though they are Shakti centric stories

Mahadev is more of Professor Binns and all thanks to UN... (i wondered tht before his entry atleast Mahadev moved hither tither..bt now he has become worse than an ancient Banyan tree)

as far as the fanfiction is concerned then it is definitely my perception for i found it biased in many instances
Plus there hve been instances where UN has been influenced by fan versions and request to introduce stories and alter them...!!
all in all... i am pretty depressed tht Mahadev is going to have sad ending which is unjustified..!😭

^^ surya..they were different right..?? i was so much wondering tht how come the reformed Banasur is the villain... well the namesakes have made UN's mind topsy turvy...

secondly Mena is getting on my nerves.. as if Parvati has a terminal illness which has no cure anywhere... such attitude is overtly disgusting..😡😡

😊the surprise of the day----banasur.. the face-off between kronch and banasur was well-executed. also, the conversation between kartikeya, ganesh, nandi and mahadev with the shiva-shiva bgm was nice👍🏼

something is making me restless.. well remembering the last scenes of Lohitaang track.. he seeks forgiveness from Lord Vishnu and definitely realises that how much a God has to "suffer" for his devotees..!
now the reason i wrote suffer in quotes was that I did not see Vishnu suffer in any way..

for going by Tulsi/Vrinda's curse the stoned Vishnu was to represent the vile act he committed.. but the Shaligram stones signifying his downfall are revered.. and if u ask me then I dont think that Shaligram stones shud be worshipped at all..instead they shud stand as a reminder to his doing and by this way IMO the karmic theory could have been justified that whosoever commits a sin has to face damnation forver..

but sadly...
now a days i feel sorry while watering a Tulsi Plant..

@ Katyayani I agree with you...but I think the reason why mahadev parvati forgave Lohitang several times was because he was born out from their''sakarakmak urja''...shiva always stated that he still had chances of improving because he had positive energies in him...The journey to the realisation of the significance of om and tridevas only added to his journey of introspection..so this is my POV that Lohitaang was given chances because of the inbuilt positivity which was temporarily ruptured by people like Andhaka. ...he also realised and repented...but in jallu's case there was sheer hatred for Mahadev-no positivity at all...not to forget that Jalandhar was born out of shiva's krodhagni-a symbol of destruction. ...but he was never disrespectful towards parvati(as far as I remember he always called out"devi parvati"and not just "parvati"or "kali")...so even I think that Jalandhar was better than Lohitang in most terms. ...and it is true that jallandhar repented for his mistakes as well. ...
anyways I wanted that 🤬 dev kampan to be beheaded...he was IMO most responsible for Lohitaang's negative approach and disrespectful behaviour. ...and I was right-kanyakumari is going to be the next track. .looking forward 😊
