Aanand to play a kleptomaniac in Mahadev

Aanand to play a kleptomaniac in Mahadev
Anand Goradia
Aanand Goradiya, currently seen in Adaalat and Bharat ka veer Putra " Maharana Pratap, has bagged yet another show.

The multitalented actor will be seen in Nikhil Sinha's Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. He will essay the role of a gandharva called Pushpdant. According to Hindu mythology, Pushpdant is a big Shiv bhakt and such is his devotion that anything he feels is apt to to sacrificed or offered to Lord Shiva, he does it without hesitation. He buys the object or even steals to offer it to Mahadev. This obsession makes him into a kleptomaniac. He becomes overconfident that he has become Mahavev's supreme bhakt. Hence, Mahadev comes in disguise and there is a confrontation with Pushpdant wherein Lord Mahadev explains that it is not enough to have honorable intentions but the path taken must also be honourable and pure.

Aanand confirms, "I am honoured to be a part of Mahadev, which happens to be the channel's flagship show. I will pray to Lord Shiva that he blesses me so that I do justice to my role."

He created Shiv Mahimna stotrum to forgive him for his sin. One of my

One beautiful line from that stotrum.

O, great master! Even, if one were to assume that the blue mountain , the ocean, the heavenly tree and the earth are the ink,the ink-pot, the pen and the paper respectively and the goddess of learning (Saraswati) herself is the writer, she will not be able to reach the frontiers of your greatness, however long she were to write!

Pushpadanta- Gandharava used to take flowers to offer to Shivji from a king's garden. Seeing all the fflowers disappearing, but being unable to catch the person, he spread Shiv-nirmalya, Bail patras offerd to Shivji in the garden. When Pushpadanta came to take flowers, steping on Shiv-nirmaya, made him loose his powers. He was seen by the guards.
To get his powers back, he created the Shiv-Mahimna stotra. He sung it with devotion, which got his lost powers back.
It is an excellent stotra, looking foreword to this story.

the story further..!!

After composing the sloka, Pushpadanta grew very proud...He thought that he had written a sloka which was admired even by Lord Shiva.

He felt proud and boasted to everyone about how great his slokas were...Lord Shiva heard about this and came and talked him. 'Pushpadanta! Do you know my temples, always have a Nandi outside...Why don't you just go and peak inside Nandi's mouth?

Pushpadanta was wondering why the Lord was making such a weird request...He went and looked inside Nandi's mouth. Pushpadanta was taken aback to find that the entire sloka that he had composed was engraved in tiny letters in the teeth inside Nandi's mouth!

Flabbergasted he ran back to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva smiled and explained to him, 'You are not the author of anything, Pushpadanta...It is the Brahman, which flows through you...All of this was written long ago...You are an instrument of the sloka coming out...'

Pushpandanta realized that he had been wrong in being proud of his composition, when he could not call the sloka his own composition. Pushpadanta asked the forgiveness of Lord Shiva and went back home and wiser man!

its a wonderful plot.. and i reallyy hope that Utkarsh sir does justice to this story nd does nt turn it into another "Manasthiti" plot
