Our soul lives in our body. Soul needs a medium to communicate with anyone even God. That's why a Human birth is considered superior among all the species. Now it's upto us how we use it. But even unconscious connection with God materialises as a conscious one as time passes. Our soul gets enriched with good thoughts, deeds, sanskaras. Where does all these accumulate that we can't see with our limited vision. But it makes our soul wealthy. So along with materialistic wealth let's make our soul rich too.

Yes, we do need to give attention to our soul and nurture it.

The immense joy I feel when I am praying or doing aradhana of God or even trying to do something good for others, is something that cannot be described or measured.

By praying, or spending some time of our day devoted to the Almighty, we do nurture our souls and establish that divine relationship with God.

Although Mahadev is a TV serial, I watch it everyday, as if it is real and every time they show Mahadev giving out words of knowledge and awakening, I do shed tears of joy and try to imbibe that knowledge.

The trap is in wanting' with greed, selfishness, insatiable desire and wanting with human reasoning.

Even wanting God' cannot give us true happiness. This is really a dual state of illusion, placing God outside of ourselves. The true joy is when you know that you are one with God, that God lives within you and you live a life that is an expression of Love all the time. Then you are one with God without separation and with no wants. You go about your business, have a strategic plan for living, do what you have to do and God will take care of you without your egoic identity being in the way. At that point, we know true joy.
