Nameste forumwaasis, In this material world most of the people running only for material things and how we look, how people see us, the more the better and so on..The hard truth is that they forget to nurture their atmaa too..its also needs attention too..Reliase that when u dy you cant get all the weatlh with u..its stays here.. but you can bring our spirituality, relationship that u build with paratmaa in this livetime with u to your next yourney.. 😊

Dont we get exited when we hear gods (istadev(i)) stories, chants, bhajans or just the name..Some forumwaasis may rofl but some people get tears in their eyes of happynes..Or become so happy when they feel the warm energy(invisible thread) when you think or talk with your istadev or istadevi.

Dont u all become happy and forget all your worries..that moment?? Its like your atmaa is communicating with parmaatma what bigger present you can get in this world..Unfortunally their are people who are blaming istadev(i) everything that went wrong in their lives, when their sad, or angry. The fact is your istadev(i) was always with u ..he/she never left.. We can thank for what we have daily..like roof over your head, your family, our health and so on..

Its up to you if u want to build a relationship or not..😉

True. Materially materialism matters, in today's world. We're leaving behind everything. What matters is also matter, but in between truly, God and Faith getting deceased from our mind (forget about Heart!) by our social show-offs for the material obsessions.
Plus, A very nice topic.👍🏼

Beautiful post, Reshama 👏.

In this world where everyone is running for the materialistic joy, we tend to forget about the real meaning of being happy.

I just believe in the fact that happiness can be found in small things, and not in big things, it is just you have to find it. It can be found anywhere. Whether playing having a cup of tea and admiring nature or in your partner arms

We cannot buy happiness.

Our soul lives in our body. Soul needs a medium to communicate with anyone even God. That's why a Human birth is considered superior among all the species. Now it's upto us how we use it. But even unconscious connection with God materialises as a conscious one as time passes. Our soul gets enriched with good thoughts, deeds, sanskaras. Where does all these accumulate that we can't see with our limited vision. But it makes our soul wealthy. So along with materialistic wealth let's make our soul rich too.

Beautiful post and I totally agree with each and every word of yours.

Yes, we do need to give attention to our soul and nurture it.

The immense joy I feel when I am praying or doing aradhana of God or even trying to do something good for others, is something that cannot be described or measured.

By praying, or spending some time of our day devoted to the Almighty, we do nurture our souls and establish that divine relationship with God.

Although Mahadev is a TV serial, I watch it everyday, as if it is real and every time they show Mahadev giving out words of knowledge and awakening, I do shed tears of joy and try to imbibe that knowledge.

The Atman, or soul is a pure expression of God. The purpose of the soul is to mirror the Godhead in Light, Love, Beauty, Splendor and Intelligence (Enlightenment) and to eventually become the fullness of the eternal God-Self. This is what and who each one of us is. We have been living on this planet for eons of time in a karmic making dimension of illusion, delusion, greed, lust, ego, decay, disintegration and death. Adapting to this realm, we have blanketed the beauty of our souls with the reasoning of the egoic mind and karmic making actions and behavior. However, we are not trapped here. God has given us a Path home. It is through the heart. When we give adorations and devotions and watch television episodes such as Devon ke Dev Mahadev it gives us great joy because we are identifying with who we really are. In those moments nothing else matters but God.

God is opulence. God is wealth and God is bounty. God creates universes without end. This is who we really are. It is okay to have elements of enjoyment and comfort and to live a life of prosperity here on earth. The trap is in wanting' with greed, selfishness, insatiable desire and wanting with human reasoning.

Even wanting God' cannot give us true happiness. This is really a dual state of illusion, placing God outside of ourselves. The true joy is when you know that you are one with God, that God lives within you and you live a life that is an expression of Love all the time. Then you are one with God without separation and with no wants. You go about your business, have a strategic plan for living, do what you have to do and God will take care of you without your egoic identity being in the way. At that point, we know true joy.
