Ive seen so many ramayan shows...that ive seen enough..i really couldnt digist that in dkdmd show would fully dedicate on Ramayan..ive have never seen in a ramayan a long story about shiv..i didnt wach the show and because a was dissapointed..it was better if they showed a track of hanuman instead.That would have been better..they focussed more on ram and not of the Ansh of shiv..and that was really akward! THANK GOD their focussing again on shiv track..

Seen Ramayan so many times so even I avoided the scenes. They shouldn't have fully depended on Ramayan for a storyline, had they just done little scenes where mahadev, hanuman and Durga worship was involved in the Ramayan it would have been better, what's the needs to tell the whole story if its not related to mahadev.

the tiny depiction of Ram and Ramayan during the Sati era was more in context of Mahadev's story than the depiction now..

And here I was actually expecting a ME on 13 Oct which would show the final Ram-Ravan yudh (13 Oct is Vijaya Dashmi day AND it's a Sunday)...oh well 😳

The main problem was that the CVs pushed Mahadev in practically EVERY single scene in the Ramayan track simply because the show is called DKDM. And that left an extremely bitter taste in the mouth for many viewers. At one stage, I was actually thinking,"Is Ram really Vishnu's avatar or not? And, if Mahadev has to really pop up in every single scene, what is the purpose of Vishnu incarnating as Ram in the first place?"

People have seen the Ramayan story being shown so many times on TV, and also the fact that Vijaya Dashmi (Dussehra) being one of India's biggest festivals, only means that the younger generation is actually aware of the story. In DKDM's case, sure, Hanuman is Mahadev's ansh avatar, and they focused on that part. And they did show Mahadev's "mahantam bhakt' complete with the Shiva Tandava stotram. And the Shiv dhanush as well. So, what was the need at all to show Mahadev in practically EVERY single scene?

If I have to be extremely blunt in my views regarding DKDM Ramayan, I'll just say this - In the Jalandhar track, showing the lead actor in a triple role is one thing. And I won't deny that Jalandhar became an extremely popular character (for whatever reason). But in a story such as the Ramayan, when you try to cash in on the popularity of the lead actor, to such an extent that you push him in EVERY single scene (when the story is NOT even about him in the first place), it leads to a lot of bitterness amongst the viewers. And such a situation doesn't help anybody's cause.

If they don't want to focus so much on Ramayan any more, that's fine by me (at least, it's better than making it "Shivayana"). But, at least give the story some kind of proper closure.

And, if they are not going to show Ramayan anymore, what will be next after the Aghori track? I actually thought they would focus on Ramayan (so as to complete the story), after this Aghori track finished.

i think we some don't know much about Ramayan ,could love to watch Rama and Sita's story.i found it interesting ,.when they stop this story i stopped watching it.Rubina and piyush were good.waiting for more.

@BOLD count me in. me too stopped watching it esp. bcoz it was streching too much.
when ram lifting shiv dhanush was streched for 2 weeks and flooded with imaginary scenes, i was completely fed up.

but now im watching again. and look at the trps they have also increased. it shows what viewers want to see.

I thought Tulsi & Vrinda gave Vishnu different & separate curses.

the main problem was ... tht Ramayn frm Mahadev's POV was a novel idea.. bt they had to follow tulsidas' Manas version.. tht means u r practically relagating Mahadev's position to tht of a mere narrator..

well... we cannot expect tht the God on the whom the show is named to turn into a narrator...

ans secondly it was way too philosophical... audience don't love tht much of philosophy

Ok i think we all agree the showing Ramayana in DKDM was wrong idea in the first place.But now that they have started Ramayana they should do justice to the track,story and the actors.Not showing ramayana till end of Ram's vanvas is wrong since neither we are going to see sita's abduction nor we can see ravan's vadh then this whole track becomes pointless and it is injustice not only to actors' playing ram and sita but to the epic chcracters of ram and sita as well.Ram and sita are great epic characters now that you have done the mistake of showing them in a shiv based show atleast to justice to them.
