i agree with you. now thy have simply brushed aside ramayan which is an injustice to the actors playing ram and sita.
may be in the 20-25 mins episode they can show ram-sita for 2 minutes 2-3 times a week and show mahadev for the remaining 18-23 minutes. that can be done.
