If they want to show Mohit in Mahabharata, a good authentic opportunity would be the aftermath of that battle. Mahadev had nothing to do w/ stopping it - it was Narada & the devas who did, but after that, Amba did tapasya and invoked Mahadev, and got a boon that she'd be reborn to be the cause of Bheeshma's death in a future birth. Mahadev can also weigh in & say what he thinks of this situation 😆

Vrish, I think Amba worshipped Lord Muruga, and he gave her a garland saying, "If you have this you can defeat BHishma." And she accepted it, but since she was so fed up of her life, instead of wearing it she hung it at the palace gates of Panchala. When Drupada saw this, he thought it was a blessing as the garland never faded. And when Shikhandini was born, she took a liking for that garland, and later "she" became Shikhandi.
