So Vishwamitra shut Rama up so that Lakshman could continue to confront Janaka? Great 🤔

And Ravan! He doesn't like being laughed at, which is why it's a pity that Rama, Vali, Kartavirya & Bali never laughed at him.

Thanks for the update Reeti (or should I say, Celestial?😛)

Today's episode was just full of Ravan and his bak bak. I wanted to just shout at him and say something like, "Finger on your lips!"😆
But seriously, he was so irritating. He basically talked for 75% of the episode.

Coming to Lakshman - yes good expressions. Finally we are seeing Sheshnaag! It was good that Parvati reminded us, otherwise I had forgotten whose avatar is Lakshman!

Ending - Ravan confronts Vishwamitra? And when he hears "Dashrath ke jyesht Putra Ram" etc etc, shouldn't he know that Rama is Kausalya's son, as Mnxg pointed out up?

Somehow, after seeing today's episode, my mind is going all over the place. Am now of the opinion that Ravana didn't even come for Sita's Svayamvar. Because if he had, seeing "the prince who had killed Tataka and Subahu", he would have at least felt furious and tried to fight him after the svayamvara. Ravan did no such thing.

Valmiki has Lakshman and the other brothers as Vishnu's avatars themselves, no Sesha or anything else. It's other books that make him Sesha nag, back projecting Balarama's image on to Lakshman.

One thing I didn't get - why was Urmila, who took a dim view of him stealing fruits, suddenly impressed by him confronting her father? Just so that Sita could have Rama?

Doesn't have to happen, does it? Rama could still have been born to Sumitra or Kaikeyi. Just saying...

If he had come to Sita's swayamvara, he wouldn't have needed Shurpanakha to describe Sita's beauty to him.
