Hi friends 😊.
After seeing the current Ramayana track, I could not resist myself from posting this topic.
I come from a Vaishnav background and a strict Vishnu devotee, and Ramayana has been an integral part of my life since childhood, have read all works of Ramayana that includes Valmiki Ramayana, Tulsidas Ramayana and hear Geet Ramayana everyday.
But what the CV's are showing is completely different to what I heard and read since my childhood.
The creative team have completely changed Ramayana for instance Lord Rama scared of killing a living being? Another instance when did Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati came on the birth of Lord Rama.I mean in which Purana or Vedas it is written. My mother says that this Ramayana has no meaning and there are showing no-nonsense things, juggling and meddling their imaginary thoughts and sprinkling some spices on it.
I know the research team might have done some research, but the thought that this wrong is not leaving my mind. The track which CV's are showing is according to me is meaningless.I think CV's are welcoming curses for themselves from all Vaishnavites, myself included.
Cv's made my hopes crashed😠for Ramayana.I thought that they would show Ramayana very nicely as it is a part of every ones life.But what they are showing is drawing me away from watching the show.
Also there is another thought that is jumping in my mind and that this Ramayana is Mahadev-centered. I mean they are including Mahadev in every scene which is not needed. I would have loved if they had shown Lord Shiva as a narrator in the show and also explaining the importance of each 'ghatna.'
Which right now bring me to the question:- Should I believe?
A BIG NO.
I know that I was not a part when the original things, but I cannot disbelieve Valmiki Ramayana which I have read.
Any one agrees with me?
