Thanks for WU mnx.

CV's are messing up this serial big time, it's kind of becoming a joke. More than funny it's disappointing to see this overly modified version.

1. Either they shud've avoided this whole ramayana series and forgotten Ravan by cutting him off after Ganesh stopping him from taking atma linga

2. They shud've limited Mahadev to only Hanuman role and continued ramayan epis as they were in actual... It really wud have got them good TRP's n loads of appreciation from viewers.

But looks like they chose to become laughing stock and mess up things. I won't be surprised if ppl start criticising Mahadev and lose interest.

And it's quite strange to see Mahadev being so overly emotional about everything happening with Ramayan. He was not shown so uncontrollably emotional even when Karthikeya or Ganesh leaving or when born.

Newez it def doesn't feel good to see CV's treating like this.

It is very sad that King Dasarat killed the blind couple's son. The king was curse by the boy's father.

i have seen the dvd of lord rama and his father died after lord rama was banished so maybe the curse came true.

I am sceptic so I do not believe in curses but maybe curses do come true.

Oh, please!!! Hunting was a legitimate sport at the time, and even Mahadev didn't proscribe it - contrary to what they're showing here.

And Kirat appeared before Arjun, not Dasharath 😡🤣 And Kirat obviously believed in hunting, since both Arjun & Kirat shot the boar, which was a disguised asura out to hunt down Arjun. The idea that Kirat would give Dasharath bhashans about the ethics of hunting is just too much. Am glad I stopped watching.

One account of the Shravan story I once read is that Dasharath, who was obviously childless at the time, asked Shravan's father how would that curse come true if Dasharath was childless? The father replied that once he did an yagna, he'd get a son, and then the curse would be effective. According to that story, that's what gave Dasharath the idea for the Putrakamesthi yagna.

The other one, as I mentioned earlier, is that this event happened before everything - when Dasharath was still the yuvraj, still unmarried and everything. Some time after his return, Aja & Indumati abdicated, and crowned him the ruler and left Ayodhya. Following that, he married Kaushalya, then Kaikeyi and then Sumitra, and then, other events followed.

This event, as well as the event where Dasharath fought Shambarasura and was saved by Kaikeyi, happened before Rama's birth and should have been shown likewise. But this is DkDM - what am I expecting? 😲

According to the account which I have heard, Dasharatha's first reaction on hearing the curse was that of joy- because thanks to the curse, he will at least become a father. In order to die due to putra- shok, he must have a son in the first place.

Anyway, in all the known versions, this incident certainly takes place before Rama;s birth.

It was Rishi Vishwamitra, who taught Ram & Lakshman Archery. May be they want to show Mahadev was an active part of Ramayan.😆

I think you meant to say -Rishi Vasishtha.

Vishwamitra's first encounter with Rama happened after the princes returned from their Gurukul.

No wonder then Rama will easily break the Hardhanu during Sita swayamvar. Mahadev would have already broken his own bow Rama would just make a show of snapping it into two pieex
