Everyone has been venting about her role for a long time now and to be honest few of us expressed that she should leave the show because of the way her role was shaping up past few months.
But if she was going away in a decent way none of us would have felt bad few of us would have stayed back and watched the show but the manner in which was replaced is the cause of concern.
Had she been still part of the show you would have seen members venting out more frustration on the storyline and characters apart from Mahadev here.

@Surya-Sonarikas fans have been critical since day one😆 and constantly disagreed with the show on how they presented stories...

as far as i know most of them werent looking forward to "Mahadev Ke Ram" anyways...had Sonarika been in the show,they might have watched the show for her,but still been crtitical of what they showed

-you dont seem to have interacted with them much so you dont know😆

Sonarikas fans used to really get bugged with the show

and yeah as Tina said,her fans were unhappy with her role and wanted her to leave for better work opportunites...strange thier wish got true...

The sad part she is being tagged as the tantrum queen of television which is sadly untrue she is been given a bad name.
Now the latest TOI article again blaming her for her exit by calling her tantrum queen. This is bad for any actress.
She could stop getting work if she is branded like this.
Sona needs a good PR after this who can change things around for her.

why these tantrums news are coming from the last 1 month. till may end everything was fine. not even a single negative article about sonarika in the past 1 year. its strange that she suddenly started throwing tantrums. never heard of these type of news when she was doing TDSM.

I miss Sonarika in the show. After her leaving the show looks even more sad than it was already getting but watched it for her and Mohit.

The thing that pisses me off even more is them airbrushing Sona out of past episodes. I mean, whatever differences they might have had, she's still a part of the shows history. Why are they redoing scenes like the Parvati van w/ Pooja now? Show that past footage, and then show Pooja remembering that. Yeah, it'll look odd, but that's a risk you take when you switch actors midstream.
