Right Annu u have a valid point it is easy to put all the blame on her.
But tell you what I am happy now no tinge of sadness left.
She did and gave her best to the show. The show did not deserve her.
She is in a much better place now. The bitterness behind she will be raring to go.
She did the best phase of Parvati and now what is left is just the left overs.

It is very sad that the re is a new Parvati. I t is not going to be as enjoyable for me now looking at this programme. The only reason that I will continue looking at it is because it is education and religious.

Well she was not informed about her replacement. In a way cheated by the production house.
We don't know exact reasons but it was done and dealt badly.

This is a disgraceful way for them to have ended it. Well, it is their show, but things have gone from bad to worse. I always feared that I'd have withdrawal symptoms once this show is over, but not anymore - I'm gone from their viewership. Yeah, life goes on - and so do I.

I know that it's just an actor being replaced, but even though I've never believed in getting emotional about them, this one left me w/ a sick feeling in my stomach. Not to compare shows, but every other Shiva-Parvati in every other serial has always looked mediocre to me - w/ the possible exception of Amit Pachori and Jayashree Gadkar (in different serials). This show created an image of a perfect Shiva, Sati and Parvati. As per the scriptures, Mouni had to go, but to see Sona leave like that is disgusting.

Is this a serial about Shiva, or about mythology in general? Ramayan is not about him, and neither is the Mahabharata, but there are important subsets in those stories that ought to be shown. But just that. Like they ought to show the establishment of the Rameshwaran Jyotirlingam, and if they wish, they could show the Akal Bodhan (of Krittivas' Ramayan) where Rama invokes Ma Durga before his battle w/ Ravan, which would be another opportunity to showcase Ma Durga. But given how they've botched every Ma Durga story - first Mahishashur, then Durgam (sorry, Durgasura 😆), it's better that they don't.

The other thing that really bothers me is that in this serial, they've watered down the importance of Parvati and Kartikeya w/o hesitation. Nothing demonstrates that better than the treatment of Kartikeya's wedding. While in all scriptures, either Ganesh or Kartikeya (but never both) were married, in this serial, where they've been mixing and matching things (often badly), both were. But while they gave Ganesh a glorious build-up to his wedding, Kartikeya & Devasena was clearly an afterthought. Monday's episode - first segment, Kartikeya & Devasena get hurriedly married, w/ a cameo appearance by the Krittikas (but none by Ganga), while even Ravan's S/R is shown.

Unlike some others here, I don't think they've shown everything - there is Andhak, and if they are importing stories, there are Ayappa and Manasa Devi. But at this point, I just don't care what they show anymore. I'm gone.

The pulse of the show is Mohit-everyone else is dirt-sad fact but true
as long as he is there the show is untouchable
moment he isnt the show will sink without a trace
Ofcourse you cant blame him for it-it isnt his fault that it is so...
He is pretty much in the same position as Sonarika was-just an employee in a company-except he is a valued one

that explains why the makers replaced Sona like they did-cos they honestly dont care!
No one deserves to work in a place where they are Nothing!

This drama is nothing new actually-its a old funda of the industry...
Take a new girl into a show-make her slog-once the girl begins to ask for her rights-shes promptly replaced on the same "tantrum throwing" ground

Sonarika drama khatam nahi hua-another Big probable replacement drama of the same type is round the corner
The Industry walas know what this is about-so they dont really care
the girls get work and life moves on

This show has done me more good than bad-went through one round of this last year
now another round again

i HONESTLY dont have the mental or emotional energy-not to forget time to go through it another time-DKDM has been weird since day oneLOL-most volatile forum EVER
and im an emotional nut case-this is not meant for meLOL

I cant stand hypocracy and double standards-dont care who it comes from.

not to forget My Laddoo Sadhil and Sona both gone..Cry..i have no reason to stay back

PS:-I Ought to say this Mr Utkarsh Naintani,scriptwriter of this show,is one of the nicest guys i have ever met,over all and in Tv industry
a Good Soul,a Nice Man...if i want DKDM to do well now,its ONLY for him...
i know certain things are weird in the show,story wiseLOL-but hes a real nice guy..Gem of a person

Everyone has a diiferent reason for watching or not watching the show. Even if there is a lot to be shown left, the way story is treated is certainly makes the story lovers, thinking what to see or what not to see.

Let everyone be happy in their decision.😆

i was anyways irregular off late watching the show-this show is giving me more reasons not to watch the show😆

they say the show is about Shakti too-apprently

everytime they have shown a Shakti story they have distorted it so badly...

i rather not see any Shakti story

The current track and Sonarika's replacement come at the most inopportune time.
Some of us are moving on just wish Sona comes back with a new show soon.

My last good memory of this show will be Kartikeya/Devasena's wedding, and that'll be it. Everything downhill from there. I too won't be watching any more - just reading updates, but really, my excitement about this serial is completely gone.

Yeah, they screwed up Mahishashur, Durgum (sorry, Durgasur 🤣), Shumbha/Nishumbha... At this rate, they'd have done just fine by simply axing Parvati herself from the show, not just Sona. And Kartikeya too, while they were at it. An evil part of me is now rooting for Mohit to be gone from the show - maybe I'll start spamming this forum w/ rumors about him leaving 😈

I was recording this show previously - started from the beheading of Vinayak, and my STB was getting close to full, and I was concerned that I'd have to start looking for episodes to delete to accommodate the new episodes. Well, not anymore - DkDM has made that decision easy for me. I won't be watching, and I won't be recording either.

I do like the new Parvati. I do not think she is as good an actress as the previous Parvati. I am sure that Sona... must be very hurt. I used to look foward seeing her in the show but now I feel that someone is missing from the show and that is Parvati.
