I have questions for both Mahadev & Jalandhar (as a viewer):

- Why didn't Jalandhar ask such questions earlier?! Instead of repeatedly asking Mahadev who was he or who gave him rights, couldn't he have asked better questions?!
When Mahadev was open to talk and still giving him chances not to fight, why Jalandhar kept wasting those chances?

For others:

- Why wasn't Jalandhar told about his identity earlier?

- Why did Narad taunt him when he became Trilokadipati?! Couldn't he have been told about Mahadev without taunts and mockery? Why provoke him?!

- Why didn't Shukracharya tell him about his identity and birth? Jalandhar still asks why Mahadev didn't punish Indra for his misdeeds, why his own guru Shukracharya couldn't tell him that Mahadev DID punish Indra?!

- Was Jalandhar only born for a purpose? To punish Indra? That is all? Why nobody took responsibility to guide or counsel him?

- And I still wonder, if Indra's guru could forever beg pardon on his behalf and get Mahadev to forgive Indra's countless misdeeds, then why couldn't Shukracharya do the same for Jalandhar?

- How did Jalandhar become "Mahadev's Mahashatru"? The CVs did not justify it!

- When Jalandhar wanted to be like Mahadev and was preparing for a war against him, why didn't Shukracharya stop him there and then?! Shouldn't he have sensed he was on his way to commit blunder? (Blunder is Adishakti haran here)

- I am confused. If Jalandhar was Mahadev's ansh, how come he is called Asur? (Sorry if I sound foolish asking this)

I am not totally convinced by this track.

@Umakaruna

I am talking in context of domination. Of course every creative product has a dedicated team behind it. MR was not great from the beginning. He has improved over time to be able to get this level of praise. And I'm sure there's a team behind the scenes to help actors evolve and understand their characters better.

But other shows since late 90s were totally female dominated. It made no difference who the male actors were or if they were shown or not or replaced, it wouldn't matter or affect the show. This is NOT the case with DKDM. Leave out MR, and this show is nothing - even if writers and others do their job well.

MR is also the reason why younger audience likes this show as well, otherwise they shy away from mythologicals completely.

Today he's getting all the attention from all quarters and double/triple dose of MR boosts the show's ratings. That is something exceptional in female dominated Indian television.

Replace or subtract MR from this show, it will be nowhere. That's a fact.

I think the script and a good product is the result for a show to do well the actors do catch the imagination and now yes Mohit is the factor but without a good product Mohit is also helpless.
The shows rating has been dismal in the Jalandhar track maybe IPL is the factor. If the ME rating has done good for the show after IPL than I would like to believe the track is a hit.
Otherwise the storyline was bogus Mohit did his job well. They sidelined vrinda to make it a Jalandhar story because of Mohit ofcourse.
But when u can change the heart of the story than why not the body keep Jalandhar alive. U keep the beginning intact and the end and change in between without realizing why this track was important and why it was necessary to show J evil. Making him die a hero's death. In this story only Vrinda was important and not J but look what a big mess they have made of it and now this emotional atyachar in the end.

They made jallu a full bechara in the end. seriously...
and how parvati was looking at jallu, its like you are my husaband's illegal son, why should i pity you? 😡

damn..and mahadeva doesn't gave a wise explanation to jallu though he did cried for him.
i am seriously mad this time...i am now waiting for ramayana to finally decide whether i should watch it or not.
if they messed up rama then they will have a serious talk with me on twitter.😡

I know if u praise Mohit's acting as Jalandhar than it makes sense but making him sad bechara dying a hero's death cannot be gulped down at any cost. When u have done so much damage than make him live also that will make everyone happy.
I am on the verge of verbal diarrhea when I see people going on and on feeling sad for Jalandhar.

True parvati was giving very weird and guilty expression...They have left many questions unanswered...
Wy did Jallu start hating Maadev?
Why did not Maadev sudarofied him?
Maadev never took any responsibilty for Jallu but was always there to punish him.
In the end Jallu's death looks wrong...no justification for it...

Its case of sati ,even though he coudnt change her fate but he tried his level best to change her fate ,he did his duties as her husband So none of us can question on that,in case of jalandar,He dint do his duties as a father which he could ,isnt it !Jalandar raised very valid points. When ganesh fell down mahadev came straightway for ganesh but he never showed any feeling for jalandhar as son.Today when jalandhar questioned mahadev i literally had tears in my eyes.Brilliant acting by mohit.

Yes tanvi brilliant acting by Mohit we are all upset with the way the story of Jalandhar is told in DKDM. They have made him a hero and now there are never ending explanations to be given for killing him. Had they stuck to the real Janadhar it would have not come to this.
So please don't misunderstand the reason for our unhappiness with this storyline.

Jalandhar was bad in the real sense he never had any mother issues, he was evil a lech who lusted after women Parvati was just one of them. He was power hungry. He wanted to become the ultimate ruler and he even ready to challenge the tridevs. He sends Rahu with a marriage proposal to Mahadev for Parvati.
Later he comes in guise as Shiv to meet Parvati but Parvati recognizes him immediately.
He deserved to die. He was getting protection because of his wife Vrinda who was a Pativrata in the true sense. They distorted the whole storyline to make hero of Jalandhar. If u go by the storyline of DKDM there is no justification to kill Jalandhar
