I agree, Ranjusha, for there are many actors who can do justice to a good script, but not so many who can do the same to a brilliant one, and very, very few who can actually rise above even a brilliant script. That was what Mohit did yesterday.

Moreover, grey characters are more fascinating than all white ones, at least for me. I have been watching DKDM since Oct last, but it was only the Jalandhar track that made me want to write about it.

If you have the time, please look at my post on yesterday's episode, Jalandhar today: Mohit's tour de force, at http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=3599957 , and also on Utkarsh Naithani's FB page. I think you will like it, for it is all about the performance, more even than the script.

Sasha clearly Jalandhar has impressed you a lot. The writing and Mohit's brilliant acting is responsible for it.
For me more than the story what is working big time is Mohit's acting as he has given himself completely to the role which makes u connect well with the character on screen.

My dear (what is your real name, if you do not mind?)

It is I who am now speechless after reading through this incredibly warm response. So, for once, I can find nothing to say except Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I wonder if you remember my response to your post on the need to be relaxed and to respect freedom of expression, it was on my Jalandhar is not a Villain thread, at

https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/83367229

I do not know when I have been more impressed by so much of calm wisdom. 👏

This apart, I was delighted that you liked my latest effort so much. I am not at all sentimental, after a lifetime as a professional diplomat, one cannot afford to be that, but yesterday, Mohit's Jalandhar made me cry involuntarily

OH.MY.GOD. TM!!!! I am truly speechless after reading your piece on Jalandhar and his circle (Vrinda and Shukracharya). 👏

Superbly written! Excellent choice of words! Beautifully expressed every intricate detail of these characters, their motivations and connections! 👍🏼

I am just spellbound by your expression and analysis!

I'l have to read, re-read and re-read it again and again! It's wonderfully written, has a lot of depth and offers food for thought.

As of now I am so amazed by your writing that I cannot being myself to agree/disagree or discuss any point in your post!

Please accept my humble appreciation for this piece you have written.

One of the most well written and well articulated posts I have ever read online! 👏

I think so too, my dear, and the scene when he weeps over her dead body is going to be heart wrenching.

Neha has been doing very, very well as Vrinda in the recent episodes, and she was mindblowing in that scene with Shukracharya. I was a tad disappointed with what seemed to me to be passiveness on her part in some of the early scenes, but I take all that back now. To watch her loooking at Jalandhar emerging after his jalasamadhi, with her heart in her eyes, is a treat. He of course is a master of facial nuance, but it is she who is the real revelation.

I am so pleased that you liked this post, and you might also like to look at my latest of last night- Jalandhar today: Mohit's tour de force, about yesterday's segment between Jalandhar and Shukracharya. I think you will like it.

Vrinda Jalandhar have definite chemistry and both Mohit and Neha an unlikely couple on screen connect very well with each other onscreen. Fabulous post this on Jalandhar. 👏
