These have very important aspects in Tantric systems even a common man if try to attain anyone of them by doing continuous sadhana can have various enhancements in his life like BUDDHI, VIVEK, DHAN, SHAKTI etc. Every mahavidya have their different benefits like

Kali- Gives undefeatability

Tara- Gives enlightment

Shodashi- How touse opportunities

Bhuvaneshwari- How to use our assets

Bhairavi- make her sadhak fearleness

The main concept is like we learn many things by our experiences in life these mahavidyas teaches us by not undergoing any experience.
