Rapes abortions and the goddess

A Woman we know takes various forms. She is a tiny happy funny and innocent girl. She becomes a chirpy teenager her pappa's daughter, a devoted wife who completes all responsibilities towards her husband her in-laws and families, who knows how to balance btwn her parents and in-laws who performs every responsiblity of the house without being noticed and still doesnt expect anything more than love.

Nice, post. Everyone must take a pledge to respect, protect, Insure women's safety and Stand against the violence that Every women faces.

So, like all, I too pledge to treat women with respect. I pledge to become a Human being, whom my family will proud to have. I pledge to raise my voice against female discrimination.

i think indian ppl r loosing their morality day by day...they worship goddesses like durga, kali, lakshmi and sarawasti and at the same time they torture the girl child..illiteracy is a big factor behind all this...only few educated ppl r there who give respect to women..

twam hi streeyaa sakalaa jagat su, this part of shloka is from naaraayani stuti of durgaa shaptashati. it means, oh mother of all, you are all of the woman in the world, it also means those who disrespects a woman also disrespects the godess. and i allready took an oath to remind the world about the meaning of the above mentioned shloka.

well said .. hypocrism has become d basic of Indian society .. de clearly distinguish women in two catagory .. either Goddess or wh**e .. de can't take dem as a normal woman .. I have seen man/woman worship Maa Durga Maa Kali r blaming girls for der rape .. after every rape cases some ppl shouts der must be some prob in her character her dress her attitude ... WTH dumbos dont understand rape has nothing to do wid women's character or dresses but men's deform mentality .. I wish Maa Durga cud come on earth n teach ds evils a lesson coz I really have no hope from ds dirty society

There's a Goddess in every woman... No one, and I mean NO ONE,has a right to disrespect her!!!!!! There people who worship the Goddess and yet show no respect to women... People need to understand that when they commit crimes like rape,abortion or disrespect women... they are disrespecting the Goddess herself, the Mother of all...

Such a pledge will surely make the world a much better place for all girls and women to live,but basic as well as moral education is also necessary and everyone should b taught to respect women...

I wish I cud .. but fact is we can only walk with candels .. our gov won't take any strict action .. de have much sympathy for rapists n terrorists .. n everyday der wl be multiple news of rape in news paper .. think der was huge protest after Delhi gang rape case .. what happened then .. d girl is dead but criminals r still alive .. if it was any other country de wud have been punished d next day .. but in India de get all kindda security .. n girls remain insecured in home n out of home ..
