To add to my previous idea: they should also incorporate the Ayyappa track in this story. So on the one side Ravan-Andhaka-Jalandhar would be pursuing Parvati and on the other, Mahadev would be with Mohini. Background mein yeh gana hoga: "chahat ke safar mein...dilon ke honsle dekho..." 😎

• Jalandar's wife Vrindra will curse Vishnu that his wife will get kidnapped. This will lead to the Ramayan track.
• In Hinduism, time is cyclic and not linear. So there may have been many Jalandars in the previous Kalpas as well. So the Shaligram and Vrinda story may have been known during Sati's time too.
• For instance the Kalki Puran talks about Lord Kalki and his pastimes from a previous Kalpa.
• Another interesting example is the Adbudha Ramayan in which Sita during her childhood was told about Ram and Sita from a previous Kalpa and how he went to fight Ravan who lived on an island .
• The Hanuman Chalisa says, 'Charo Jug Partaap Tumhara' (Hanuman's glories are sung in all the 4 Yugas - Sat , Treta, Dwapar and Kal). One can argue that Hanuman came into existence in the Treta Yug so how can be glorified in the Sat Yug. So obviously the Hanuman from the previous age is being worshipped.
• In many Puranas, Agastya Rishi is shown narrating the Ramayan to Shiv and Sati even before Lord Ram has been born.
• The Yudha Kanda of the Valmiki Ramayan mentions Lord Krishna even though Ramayan happened much before Lord Krishna was born.
• Shiv and Sati are not confined by time. On the contrary time is under the influence of Shiv and Shakti. Shiv and Shakti can enter any yug whenever they want to.
• Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas says that Jalandar was also born as Ravan in one of the Ram avataras. In another Ram avatar it was Lord Vishnu's door keeper Jaya and Vijaya who incarnated as Ravan and Kumbkaran respectively.
