thanks for the story. all men even gods at some point have more than one wives.. only the poor ladies cant have more than one husband only draupadi had even for that she was taunted by duryodhan of being a tainted lady... all these stories focus n support patriarchal society.

even here the tridevs r given more importance than adhyashakti mata.. when they have to put the blame they put it on the ladies.. in this case apsaras...

it's given only in one puran right?😕

i don't know how much to believe it! because many puran have a single story in different version and some stories with out much proof.

perception of a certain things are different in different puran based on who has written it !

so only those stories which are seen in all puran with similarity can be trusted blindly , rest is upto audience whether what they want to believe.😊

This whole story is bogus. Again i like point that this story is only found in one purananas. Majority of the puranas don't have this then this story is made to make lord vishnu look bad. Majority of Hindu are said for be Vaishnav meaning that if they put a lot of this bullshit tracks then they massive drop in TRP.

for me this is a nice story. I love all the three tridev's and tridevis. I am neither a vasihnav nor a shaivite neither shaktiaite. I believe in all religions and try to take good and positive things from each religion and leave away what is bad..

This story of vishnu going astray might be to teach the common humans that no one is perfect and everyone is bound to do mistakes and if we do the mistakes we should accept them, apologize and try to rectify it.😊

I believe that gods take avtaars in order to teach the world how one should live as a human.
