@taani-i know it does,it does take up some names and some historical events
however unlike the Da-Vinci code that presents those facts not as fiction, but as reality,a part of Christianity that has always brought along conflict
IOM-as far as i know doesnt question the facts and stories we know, its a fantasy book and doesnt put forward any "shocking" element that is likely to spark controversy-unlike the DVC

anyways i havent read the books yet😆i am waiting for the last installment-then ill buy all of them together and finish them back to back😃
i have heard awesome reviews of the triology

Shruti I think that is because there is no general conflict of facts in iom. I mean the shaivaites coule up kicked up a fuss here too but thankfully they did not. Oh and buying all three is a very good idea. The wait for the 3 rd one is killing me.

fictions are to read and enjoy...they r certainly not to be made a part or be compared to ones life or believes.
When we read all other fictions without complaints, same should be done with tge ones based on such topics.

Two books were fantastic not a true but really fantastic imaginations and weaving the writer's story with the help of characters and its near to reality. These series have a different aura and imagined in a slight innovative way but I really think that parvati should be introduced with death of sati. And also wanna see her chronicles also in the form of durga. Kali is introduced earlier wanna see her also.

hey i've read the book...the 1st n 2nd installment. N i loved both the parts. Waiting fr the 3rd one.
I disagree with the ones who have nt readthe buk n still have loads of negative to say abt it. I think ppl shld 1st read n then only comment abt it. Its a fiction...treat it like one. When we r fine abt reading n liking fictions abt other religious same shld be with ours.
I think the ones. Who have nt read this buk shlddefinitely try it. Its one of a kind.
waitinggg fr the last part:)
