Shiv believes in giving freedom to children to make their own decisions. He feels he and parvati should not force their wishes and desires on their children. He feels that if kartikeya doesn't want to return to kailash,he should not force him to come back.Same with Ganesha. If he too doesn't want to return to kailash without kartikeya, let him not.He believes in giving complete freedom to his children. This was not the first time he took such a decision.Earlier too he had taken the same decision and let kartikeya go to south and AS to do tapasya.
Parvati is totally different. She always wants her family to stay together. She feels that parents have the right to impose their decisions on their children specially when the decisions are right. She feels if children don't listen to their parents, parents should convince/force them to listen to them. She wants kartikeya and ganesh back so that her family will be a happy and complete family once again. But when mahadev didn't force his children to come back, she blamed him of being a bairaagi.
So who is right,Shiv or Parvati?
Btw friends, don't we face the same situations in our lives too?I am sure as children or parents,we too must have faced the same situations at some point in our lives.

exactly the case.. this shows the contemporary nature of the show. Mahadev and Parvati are right in their prespectives. Giving freedom of thinking and choosing is right but it should not be stretched too much.

I am waiting as how Mahadev and Parvati will be resolving this issue, maybe we people can take few lessons as how to manage family relations.

i think they both are right in their own way. They both love their children and are in pain. I hope we see them reunited soon in kailash.

Since I am a mother I want my children to live with us. Parvathi is right, at the same time Lord Shiva is also right, when his son said he need sometime to think, Lord Shiva said ok. In my opinion both are right.

I will say both because I like the point made by Parvati that when we love someone we have to make it a point to show it to them and not just leave them alone. That is what members in a family do to show how important a part they are in the family and that we love them equally.

i think both are right in their own places... it was not right to leave ganesh.. because he is very young.. and it was right to leave karthiik.. becos.. he is grown up.. and should learn to handle his problems

I go with Mahadev. he is giving the freedom to his children, but only if it is right, if they were wrong, i dont think he would allow. Basically, what I think about parvati is... she wants her whole family together for herself. Mahadev too wants his family together, but he also thinks about his children, what they feel, and how the feel, and what they want to do. And he supports them. I think mahadev is right

I think both of them are right in their own visions as a father & as a mother.
