yeah that was a bit too much

but i think the general audience would have found it strange if they showed Kartiekya leave without any revolt at all

since the audience isnt exactly THAT scripture oriented as some of us are!

stubborn and arrogant are different..ok they could show karthikeya running away from parvati but throwing stone on her???unbearable..

enough that when he lost the race to Ganesha he went and sat of a mountian far away and didnt come back till Parvati went and cajoled him to come back!

She makes him what is is called PANCHAMRUTUM , It is a combination of fruits , jaggery and honey. Even to this day that is the prasad one is given for any pooja conducted for Murugan/subamanya/skanda etc etc
It has 5 items in it , Jaggery , Honey, ghee, banana , and diamond sugar[ sorry not sure what it is called in hindi]

Subramanium is my family God actually,we have a temple of him in our ancerstral home!

Most likely Kartikeya will throw a stone at Parvati and Parvati will covert it to some sort of miracle-chottu thinks hes too strong,hes yet to see his mommy in her splendor!
