I believe that Jayanta, Jayanti and even Devasena were children of Sachi, not anyone else. Also, Suryadev - both his wives gave birth to 3 kids each.

But this curse is pretty unfair - it should have been that the devas wouldn't have any kids. If Vayu can impregnate Kunti, how is he punished if his wife is unable to conceive? Beats me.

Another point - when Sukhi told Taki that Parvati had cursed the devas, he should have been ecstatic. But somehow, he just totally missed the significance of that moment?

Shruti

If that's what they showed today, imagine how they'll show her when Mahadev beheads Vinayak. Much as I love him, it would be a sight seeing him rattled.

@Vrish-you have a point!shouldnt they have been made impotent instead?...why make thier wife's go through the pain?or is it beacuse she couldnt get the happiness as a mother she wants them too feel the same!
im very happy with Parvatis angry avatar...and im waiting for the time when she gets THIS angry with Mahadev...it would be a sight..
already he looks rattled to see his angry wife, what will happen when shes mad at HIM,to such an extent she even wages war against him!-that will be awesum!

Guys it was an awesome epi. Parvati was the scene stealer today her Adishakti roop was brilliant. Liked her making the point to the devtas as to what was their need to interfere since Adishati and Mahadev are the most capable of handling any threat.
It would be most interesting to see Parvati's reaction in the future to Mahadev when he beheads Ganesh.
Thanks for the wonderful update.

Thanks for the update Sia😊

Today Devatas have learnt an important lesson of what happens when they interfear with the super power.
Regarding most of the curses, there is always a way to reduce their effects or a remedy to change the intensity of the curse. Like Shivji changed the meaning of Agnidev's curse. Same may happen with other curses. Even Rati's curse was interpreted in a different way by Shivji.
Atleast next time Devatas will think many times before coming in front of angry Paravti.
Parvati's raudra roop was good, but why did she tears were coming out of her eyes when she calm down? Atleast here they could have shown her without tears.
Ganga, did the right thing by accepting the power from Agni, she knew it may be seen as a wrong step by Paravti, but she took the risk.
Let's see how many more curses are in store tomm.😆

Devas are known to be wicked @ times - I'm talking about the originals as per the Puranas, not just the serial creations. Although it has been argued that the devas of the vedas were very uncontroversial. At any rate, in this story, to be fair to them, the devas did nothing wrong.

Indra sent Agni & Vayu to Mahadev to remind him of their need for his son. Mahadev gave them the 6 sparks, which they then took to Ganga, who took them to Sharavana, where 6 babies were born. The 6 Krittikas found them and took a baby each. Parvati arrived @ the place and as soon as she approached them, the babies merged into one. This one was then claimed by all of them, and Mahadev resolved it by giving him the names Mahasena (for Agni/Vayu's son), Gangeya (for Ganga's son), Sharavan (for Sharavana's son), Kartikeya (for Krittikas' son), Skanda (for Parvati's son) and Guha (for Mahadev's son).

But the way they've shown it, I don't think Agni will have the guts to claim ownership of Kartikeya, and to an extent, i do sympathize w/ him. I doubt that Ganga will want to claim ownership of Kartikeya either, once Parvati's done cursing her. What I wonder - is Parvati going to curse everyone who claims to be a parent of Skanda, and ultimately end up cursing Mahadev as well?

agree

the biggest lesson that can be learned for Hindu mythology is:
how to curse each other and maybe how to repent...

Thanks for the update I can understand the mother's feeling and her child is taken away as soon as its born is sad. Last week episode Pvati was sad for not able to have a child because of curse and now she had the baby. Devatas took her child away from her is very devastating. Tomorrow's episode will be very interesting.
