Taraka's Last Stand: What Should We Expect?

Assuming that we will get to see Takki's end sometime within the next decade, how far should we raise our expectations for the final battle? In the puranas Taraka is a formidable warrior, an extremely powerful asura. He defeated the devas and lokapalas and many ganas. He had his own 'Shakti' weapon (in the form of a spear). He knocked out both Veerabhadra and Vishnu! Taraka was attacked by the Sudarshan Chakra but even this did not stop him.

The fight with Skanda wasn't that straight-forward either. Both used their Shakti weapons and at first Takki managed to land a severe blow on Skanda; so much so that Shiva's son was rendered unconscious for a while. He got back up and hit Taraka but the asura got back up again. Finally Skanda remembered his parents, offered obeisance to them and hit Taraka with one final fatal blow.

So far DkDM has usually failed to live up to their grand promos and audience expectations when it comes to these big moments. What do you think? What should we expect?



Note: I suspect we won't see Takki fighting Vishnu or at least we won't see it the way I described above for obvious reasons. Also in the texts Shiva instructed Veerabhadra not to kill Taraka because the boon was about Skanda killing him. I think Veerabhadra won't be brought back on the show.

I have a slight feeling that this one will be good. It might be presented far better than what was churned out in the past.
Rushiraj playing Karthikeya has tremendous screen presence like Mohit and they should capitalize on that and also he has a huge fan following.
Fights in DKDM have not been shown with all intensity and have been cut short by drama. I have a feeling this time it will be different.
I somehow have huge expectations from Rushiraj(Kartikeya) and I think we might be just in for a pleasant surprise. But better still to keep low expectations bcoz the end result will be easier to digest that way.

@Kal-honestly?...we had so much expectations from Kaali and it was utterly disappointing!

After watching Maa Durga and Kali in a silent mode wat can i expect more... and not to forget how they made Sati a mere human being...

I think this time they will try to put some extra ordinary efforts to make the audience expectations true. Today I have read an article about the race of TRP's between all the channels and show's due to starts of KBC. All the showmakers try to put some extra efforts to make their TRP's goes up. Mahadev is the maximum TRP gainer of all time and I am sure that CV's prove us right , so my expectations are very high from Mahadev.

The battle between Tarakasur & Kartikeya will be good. A kid fighting with an uncle.
