Unless Tarakasur is not kilied Indra & other Devatas will become permenant residents of ksheersagar. Even Vishnuji-Lakshmiji may want their Loka back, so Tarakasur will be packed up soon. Otherwise Samudra manthan may not happen, as per Vishnuji told Indra in one epi. even if you get Swarga back, Lakshmuji won't be present in Swarga, you'll have to get her back through Samudra manthan, so during Diwali days SM may be expected. Then sometimes if they remember to give Indra his Vajra, Vritrasur will be back. Till then some more Asuras willl enter the show.

Indra is always @ Kshirsagar - when is he @ Alkapuri? The Asuras remind me of the 80s West Indies cricket team - just as you had Roberts, Croft, Julien, Daniel, Holding, Garner, Marshall, Patterson and Walsh, always coming one after the other to destroy opposition batsmen, similarly, on the demon side (asura/rakshasha/danav), you had Vritra, Taki, Mahishashur, Shumbha, Hiranyaksha, Hiranyakashipu, Bali, Ravana and Narakasura all coming one after the other to oust Indra from his throne. The demons had an impressive bowling lineup - just like that West Indies team, and Indra could never rule in peace for long, b'cos there was always some asura ruler or the other ousting him from power.
And a good thing it was too, b'cos whenever he was enjoying power, he'd do all the corrupt practices, like trying to seduce Ahalya, steal Ashwamedha horses, etc. So he needed to be kicked out of his throne, just like we need to vote out our CMs every one term, and alternate power b/w the major parties.
Only problem - Vishnu was too willing to overlook his faults. Mahadev that way was fairer - except for the Tripura episode, he was fair to the asuras. Like w/ Banasura, he made sure that Krishna didn't kill him.
But I'd love to be there in the Manvanthara that Bali rules. In fact, I wish there were Manvantharas given to others, like Banasura, Vidyunmali and a few select other asuras.
