@meenaxi-i hope they do show it!!...
they may even show it...and then perhaps at the end show Kaali Ma...irrespective of if they show or dont show the other Shakits!
anyways i dont think they will have to put much effort to make Sona look like Ambika right?
so chances are they may show her!
btw whats the diffrence between Ambika Ma and Durga Ma?

Here is what happened. This is from the ACK Tales of Durga, but closely follows DSS from what I understand from Minakshi's description as well:
- Parvati took the form of a beautiful damsel called Ambika, who was spotted by the Asuras. Shumbh wanted to marry her.
- Ambika told all of Shumbha's messengers that she'd taken a vow to only marry the one who could defeat her & humble her pride 😆
- Shumbha sent DL to get her, Ambika pretended to be helpless but w/ a single syllable, reduced DL to ashes
- Next, Ambika created Mahakali and Chandi out of her forehead vision
- Mahakali beheaded Chanda & Munda.
- Raktabheej is sent against Ambika, and here, whenever Chandi injures Raktabheej, thousands of new Raktabheej's are created
- Chandi tells Mahakali to prevent Raktabheej's blood from touching the ground, which Mahakali does. As a result, it's Chandi who kills Raktabheej & his hordes, not Mahakali - Mahakali just prevents their blood from touching the ground. The comic doesn't describe how she did that, which is perhaps understandable
- Nishumbha is sent w/ the asura army to fight
- Several more Shaktis are invoked, such as Bramini, Vaishnavi, Maheshwari, Aindra, Kaumara et al. As Minakshi said, they are derivatives of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Indra, Kartikeya and so on.
- All these Shaktis massacre the asuras. I forget who killed Nishumbha - maybe it was Chandi
- Shumbha comes into the battlefield and complains to Chandi or Ambika that she's outnumbered his hordes w/ all these shaktis
- Chandi tells him that they are all different manifestations of her. All the shaktis, including Mahakali, merge into her, and Durga is the summation of all of them
- Durga then battles and kills Shumbha
So Ambika was one of the forms that Parvati took, and then used to keep creating and invoking various Shaktis. In the end, when all the Shaktis, including Ambika merged, Durga was what resulted. What makes this whole story somewhat confusing and difficult to recall was that Ambika merrily went about creating Shaktis @ will, 😆 first from herself i.e. Parvati, and later, from other deities, like Brahma, Vishnu, et al.
So this version doesn't have Mahakali doing the tandava dance & stepping on Mahadev - that may have been a different demon. Note that Raktabheej was not the only demon to have this boon - once, Shiva killed an asura called Andhaka, who too had this boon of his blood regenerating demons if fallen on the ground. Here, Shiva killed Andhaka w/ his trishul, and had a bowl to receive his blood so that nothing could fall on the ground. More likely, the incident that they will show on September 9th actually happened w/ a different asura than Raktabheej.
So in the above account, Durga was the summation of all of Adi Shakti creations. On a different occasion - the aftermath of Ganesh's beheading, Parvati invoked Durga & Mahakali again to avenge his killing and wreak vengeance on the devas & ganas.
