This is the main reason why parvati is always 'cursed' by Shiv. She is adishakti. She can never make any mistake but she purposely does to teach this important lesson to the mankind that one's ultimate goal is to unite with the parmatma and not enjoy the materialistic pleasures. If u try to achieve these pleasures, then u will also face the same situation like me.
Some people who won't understand this will definitely misunderstand and think that it's fine to abandon the wife if she makes any mistake. After all,Lord Shiva had also done the same thing many times.I ce hope the cvs give this important message that they are not encouraging male chauvinism and injustice to women. They should mention the above reason for showing all these.

purple yes i think the same...they should also show where lord Shiva did some mistakes purposely as a part of his leela to teach some lesson to mankind this will justify that the show showed parvati's curse not to promote male chauvinism

I feel these stories are absurd and are incorporated , just to prolong episodes ..

I guess in this show they might not be showing any more rebirths going by Mahadev's dialogue towards the end.

mylai kapaleshwar is very famous one in south chennai...i love that temple very much .i think subha already posted this information in temples of india thread...

that poompavai is also said to be believed as first financee of Thirugana sambandar..(her father aimed to marry her off to sambander when she was alive, but unfortunately a snake bites her to death ).since he retrieved her life ,he believes that he is in her father 's position now,so refused to marry her .
but he is later to married NambhiyandarNambhi's daughter ,in his very Marriage this couple merged with the divine fire including all the devotees who attended it.Thus the entire group of people got salvation ..

if any one interested to know more about him

in the southern chennai another temple is dedicated to devi that is Mangadu Amman temple .

About the Temple: Mangadu Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple is one of the ancient temples in India which is dated back to Adi Sankaracharya's period. The temple is situated about 24 K.M away from Chennai on the Chennai-Bangalore route between Kundrathur and Poonamallee.

Legend about the temple: Legend associated with this temple is that once in the heavenly abode Sri Parvathi closed the Lord Shiva's eyes just for fun. When she closed the Lord's eyes the world plunged into darkness and all the beings suffered. The Lord got angry and asked her to get out of the place and suggested that she can join him only after doing severe penance . Accordingly she came to earth and saw a large mangrove (mango forest) and thought that it is the apt place for her to do the penance. She chose a place in the middle of the mangrove and started her tapas in the middle of Panchagni . Panchagni means fire on all four sides and above the head hot rays of sun . The Devi stood on one leg as her right leg folded and her right hand above her head holding the rudraksha beads. Siva pleased with her penance, came down and gave darshan to Devi and married her at Ekambareswar temple in Kancheepuram.

There is a temple for Lord Shiva near the Kamakshi Amman temple which is known as Valleswarar temple. There is a temple for Lord Vishnu also known as Vasikunta Perumal Temple near by this Amman temple.

The heat of the Panchagni and that of the penance of Devi did not subside and hence the people had great sufferings . When once Adi Sankacharya visited this place he realized the situation and installed an Ardhameru Sri Chakra in a small temple and instilled the power prevailing there in it. He gave the necessary instructions of poojas to the Ardhameru Sri Chakra which is very rare of its kind and not seen anywhere else.

Even today the poojas and abhishekams are done to the Sri Chakra. There is an idol of Tapa Kamakshi ( the Devi in her posture of Tapas) on the right side of the main shrine.

Significant vratam performed in this temple is six weeks vrat. You can choose any day of the week for this six week vrat . Suppose you start the vrat on Monday you should reach the temple on Monday with two lelons . One will be kept in the temple and the other will be given to the person who perform vrat. He/she should keep the lemon at home and come to the temple next Monday with the lemon along with two fresh ones. Like this one should visit the temple for six weeks . On the sixth Monday they will perform archana and provide you with prasadams. It is believed that those who perform this six weeks the Devi will fulfill their wishes.

Main Poojas : Main poojas here are Archana, Sahasranama archana, Ashtothara archana and Abhishekam . After performing the archana prasadam will be sent by post within India in 3-4 days, Europe, Asian and Gulf countries within 5-7 days and USA,Canada and Australia within 10-12 days.

How to reach: You can reach the temple by bus auto rickshaw, taxis. Lot of state transport buses and private buses are plying to Mangadu from Chennai . From Chennai airport it is only about 30 minutes journey in bus to this temple if we take a call taxi .
😆
Devi penance stories and temples dedicated to that is endless in south side 😆

to my experience ,8 out of ten shiv/shakthi temples are dedicated to these kind of stories .
what my father said devi is the complete representation of jeevatma here in shiva's leela,
and she is remaining very soul to attain sadashiv like her .this is what the aim of every human life ,but due to worldly attachment ,we are not in the position to remember it.hence all the temples are formed in due course so that atleast ,the devotes can experience the rich positive vibrations there ,created by devi and shiv ,that guides them to attain salvation 😊 in any of their births .

most of the temples are renewed from every passing yuga .they got demolished ,but the statue or shree cakra of devi remains there buried ,when time comes ,she is emerge herself out ,then the local king will built the temple around that. when great saints like adishankra arrives there explains the soul reason behind her penance and rest of the story to crowd that happens long ago.
so under their guidance only all the stories are recorded and saved through stone inscriptions and palm leaves .With the help of dutiful kings for their construction and preservation ,after so many years all the generations can easily access the grace of devi through this temple sites 😃
