I think Sonarika is doing just fine. She's just what I would imagine as Parvati -

soft, beautiful, even girlish... (btw I was reading a translation of Kumarasambhava yesterday and Parvati is depicted as shy and girlish in that ...)

at the same time she is poised, determined, strong and capable of challenging our Mahadev, who's had it good until now! Wait till Parvati becomes an equally adept tapasvini! Then he'll be trying to get her OUT of that mode! 😆 but that comes later.

Sonarika did really well in todays episode...thank god Parvati wasnt crying🤣... apparently people dont like Parvati crying🤣...actually even i dont...it takes me back to her Abhilasha days...i think she cried enough in that show to last a lifetime!

but i loved her determined act in todays episode...i hope they dont make her cry again!!

I've been hearing so much about Sonarika's older show and I have to say that I'm glad I didn't have the "pleasure" of seeing it...😆

It helps me judge this performance without reference to anything that came before.

But seriously, I think I would now have a hard time imagining anyone else as Parvati ...

her last show was nice till the first 20 episodes-where it was just the husband and wifes story...then it went downhill when they put an extra marital affair from somewhere and got a saas bahu track..

actually TDSM started off well in terms of TRps...but it was ruined by the creatives!

@Mira-i too cannot imagine anyone else as Parvati now-i guess by and by we will used to seeing her!
