I think people are not attached to mouni but to the character of Sati (as portrayed in dkdm). Her story seems to mirror some portions of our society where a girl if falls in love with a person her parents don't approve then she suffers so much. This show showed Sati was unhappy all the time regardless if she was with Mahadev or not. It kind of shows that you have no choice. Love does not conquer all. Parents will never come around and accept your choice in love etc. That is the part that makes me unhappy that sati did not have good life at all.

I think I would have loved dkdm just as much if they had portrayed Sati as she is in the puranas. All the articles i have come across regarding Sati on the internet have been eyeopening. In all articles she is written as pious, very sure of herself, pure and wise. She knows she is adi shakti and life is sati is one of her leelas.

people dont know but Sonarika does have a fan base of her own,who are VERY happy to have her as Parvati!

Sonarika looks stunning, so no need to say anymore about that.

I think she's doing a great job emoting through her eyes.

Her voice is sweet and childish...and I sort of like the contrast of the childish innocence on the one hand and yet the certainty in her mind that confuses her. She needs to understand what she knows/feels to be true...so she's looking for explanations... Her mind says one thing, the world/ her parents another...her confusion is understandable and it will go away once she sees our Mahadev! Not to mention Vinshuji's "protsahan" (I am totally loving our student No. 1 Vishnuji 😆)

Bottomline: 👍🏼 I think Sonarika makes a charming Parvati.

She has an innocence and a fragile beauty...and yet strength of character and determination.

She has it in her I feel to play the role with quiet conviction and determination - no excessive histrionics are needed. Her eyes do the talking.

I am very very hopeful now that DKDM is going to ROCK! ...😃

btw...Three cheers for Jaya and Vijaya who found the cave. They're AWESOME!
