One thing I forgot to mention while commenting on yesterday's episode - when Vishnu sent his discus to separate Sati's body from Shiva, one chakra remained on his finger while the other left. Not too different from joker serials that have Vishnu in Vaikuntha and his avatars on earth simultaneously.

Vrish i think its okay, the chakra is an extention of vishnu's shakti, so its actually symbolic, same with avatars. I like the idea that a part of the God is only descending, after all he is infinite, be it vishnu or shiv, so he will be omnipresent and be present everywhere.Anyways thats another discussion.
Nandi, he is always crying. the reason he is placed in desert because the first shaktipeeth, where sati's brain lies is hinglaj, in present day afganistan, it is located in desert, hence another name, Maruteerth Hinglaj.
