adi shakti has no vahan, she needs no vahan, she is in everyone and everything. So they don't show her vahan.

adi shakti app has 108 faces and 1000 hands, much like viswarupam of Lord K. What they showed here is the most popular version of her, durga roop with 10 hands, but in reality she is sahasrabhuja.

Its when she comes of as devi durga, in katyayan rishi's asrama, that she got her lion has vahana as a gift from Himalaya, just like minu said.

Lion is Maa Durga's vahan, they will show after Maa Parvati take Maa Durga swaroop for purpose... And yes they did'nt show Adi Shakti face bcoz Adi Shakti is potreyed a Power or Energy who takes new Birth in human body so there are chances for Mouni get replaced but we can't ignore the fact that we did'nt got a single article abt replacement... We can just wait n watch

Adi Shakti i.e Maa Kushmanda who created the world along with Shiva seats on Tiger mostly but Lion too. She is the main Shakti yet known as Kushmanda amongst the nine avatars of Parvati. And Durga (Katyayani) as well as Kaushiki have Lion as thier vahan. and after birth as parvati, she gets a Tiger too for her protection and travel. Tiger's name is Som Nandi, as shown in ONS. Dont know whether after that only she starts seating on tiger too as Lion is main vahan.

And also, Mouni wont be doing the show till wat is known from the current news. She played Shakti very well with that loud voice, anger in eyes but just her Vahan was missing. the reason might be that she didnt remember about she being adi shakti fully. so, may be when parvati will realize that she is adi shakti fully, then only she will be shown with tiger

So many swaroops of Maa Parvati has Lion, Tiger as her vahan... Maa Durga swaroop came in universe for bettling with Shunb Nishub at that time She was gifted the Lion as Vahan

acctually Maa Durga was created to kill Mahishasur...not Sumbh Nishumbh...Maa Durga take another avatar for that n that Avatar is called Maa Jagatdhatri...in Bengal we worship Maa Jagatdhatri in November...Maa Durga killed Mahishasur..bcz no other Devtas can killed him..Brahma gave him a boon than any Devta,Asur,Human...even no man can killed him...so everyone is helpless..once Mahishasur take a womens Avatar n destroy Rishi Katyan's yagya..so Rishi cursed him that a womens will kill him...then all Devtas join their power n creat Maa Durga...every Devta give her a wepon or something else..Mahadev give her his Trishul...Vishnu Dev give him his Sudarshan Chakra..Brahma give her his Kamndal...Indra give her his Bajra...like this every Devta give her their wepons..

Ma Durga appeared first for killing Mahishasura, she got Lion as her vahan. Then she appeared from Parvati on Rishi & Deva's prayers, known as "Shakradi Stuti" to kill Shumbh & Nishumbha.

Parvati's body then became black, was known as Kaushiki. Then Parvati did penance & got her fair colour back.

In the Kanda Purana, which had the story of Surapadman and Simhamukha along w/ Taraka, when Simhamukha was killed by Kartikeya, he was blessed that he'd serve Kali as her mount. So question is - what is Kali's mount - is it a tiger, or something else?

Also, Durga's mount is a lion, but does Parvati have the mount of tiger or lion? That's what Wiki lists, but I don't recall seeing Parvati on any mount. Lakshmi's is the owl and Saraswati's the swan, so shouldn't Parvati have some sort of bird as a mount? Maybe those pigeons? 😆

Kali's vahan is a jackal or a dog...But since it appears degrading to be portrayed in such fashion, she's mainly depicted alone..
