why auditions 4 parvati?? - Page 2

As per the news Anushka was supposed to start shooting from 10th May, so bal Parvati can be expected soon. But this show will look quite dry without Sati.

The most poignant part in Shiva's love story is the viraha(separation in love) that he sufferes after Sati's self-immolation. It is supposed to be so potent that he completely withdraws himself from everything and everybody. For he was still mourning Sati's death, he was not ready to marry Parvati, even though she is supposed be the manifestation of the Divine Feminine. She was clearly a different woman for him. It required her to go through severe penance ( not to forget Madana/Kamadeva's role here) to wake him up to love once again. So, if they cast the same face as Parvati, how would they justify the above story, which I believe is the best-known one?

@sub_rosa, the regular viewers are addicted to Mauni. A good actor can very well portray 2 different personalities. Since 2 weeks they have degraded Sati's character if they do the same then anyone becoming Parvati will not be able to convince viewers as much as Sati. Her story before marriage will be remembered as the Golden phase of this show. It's compeletely in the maker's hand now.
