why auditions 4 parvati?? - Page 3

what i want to know is that there was a phase whn sati used to have dreams of the ardhanareshwar roop...at that time they essentially had to show shiv shakti...n at that time satis face was confirmed as adishakti...so now is it possible to show a different face...dont tell me that when and if parvati is shown to be having similar dreams it will be the same shiv but a different shakti...!!??

Frineds...no where mentioned Mouni is not playing Parvati role...just they mentioned looking for younger Partvati...so hope for Mouni to play Paravti role...

You're absolutely right on that. While I know we've got so used to Mouni, a different actor for a different character will make a difference in the way the viewer will approach that character. If Mouni were to be cast as Parvati, it is possible (I repeat just possible) that we be constantly reminded of Sati's character. Well whatever they do I hope they find someone as talented as Mouni, after all the acting also matters!!

it wouldbe nice if Mouni played the role-but if they do get someone else to play Parvati-shell have to be THE best-a good dancer,good persona everything... because Mouni has set a very high bench mark!even in terms of her chemistry with Mohit!

koi ordinary ladki nahi chalegi-theyll need to find someone who can make her own place along with Mouni!-if they are planning a replacement it will be hard!

it will be very very hard for the audience to accpet anyone else as Parvati/Shakti-Mouni has done an awesum job and she will if the need arises be able to pull of a Parvati as well...

had this been a normal mytho no one may have cared who would be Parvati-but it being potrayed as a love story between Shiv and his Shakti it will be hard for people to accept someone other than Mouni!

also they have showed Shakti,in Ardhanaeershwar to have Mounis face,so if they cast someone else it will be a Howler!

I think Parvati's track is being added as an afterthought. So there are bound to be some inconsistencies...and back-tracking!

what you are saying is True ...but it can also mean the CVs are buying time to reform mouni (giving her different look) for Parvati role , but strangely they have not yet disclosed who will be the parents for Parvati

its realy highly distrubing me hearing about the auditions for the role of Maa Parvati,just hoping it might not for grown up role,,,fingers crossed ,,want only Mouni and no 1 else

Wouldn't there be some sort of a gap b/w Sati's passing, and Parvati's birth? Also, there would be a lot of events that would have to happen - like the incineration of Kamadev, Taraka conquering and enslaving the devas, and so on.

I am happy w/ the idea of someone else playing Parvati. Aside from the reasons that Kal El mentioned, Parvati's personality was very different from Sati's, even though she was Sati reborn. So I'd prefer to see someone more gentle and demure playing Parvati's role.

I doubt that the show will lose TRPs just for that - that would risk happening if they play fast & loose w/ the popular storyline.

I think it will be a wise decision to have someone else playing parvati... not that I don't like mouni (she did a fine job as Sati) but with a new face we can leave the character off Sati behind...easier/faster... plus I want someone with a mature look as parvati...
