I remember my mom had told dis story long bak.it was parvati who had tested ram and not sati.Actually as sati and parvati r forms of aadi shakti,so ppl do get confused.

I can accept people getting confused but the makers of this show who claim to have researched well are not supposed to make such a big mistake.

If your mom has told you that means even that generation knew the real version & moms are always right😃

i honestly don't get it...why did they have to show this version of SATI ji testing Shri Ram...i don't know why...but find this story pretty unconvincing...i mean just because Sati took the form of Sita and he considers Maate Sita as her mother...Mahadev decides to detach himself comlpletely from her??

they cud have chosen sum other version easily but why this???

Yes Meenu one way of looking at it..but it disturbs na..yaar..😭Chal dekte hain..kya dikhate hain yeh log..they cant disregard the passionate love SHIVSHAKTI have ...by this drama😡..🤢I am hoping they will surely have a answer ..soon..& cool down my Raudra roop 😡😡😡And I have faith they will too 😛..Well I am praying to Siddi vinayak & hsi Dad Mahadev & ma Shakti too to help them give us a clear answer & make me teh happiest..like always..😍🤗

Very true dear this unreal version followed this way is hurting most of us. Where as actually it was Parvati who had tested Ram, it was shown in Maa Shakti show on Starplus. Life OK being their channel I thought they will follow that but things are different.

Sure it probably is an interpolated story but the creatives are free to choose to incorporate it in their show if they want to. I just wish they had done a better job at the execution.

Actually shiv had got angry not bcoz sati went in disguise of sita whom he considered as his mother.shiv is a huge devotee of lord ram.he didnt like sati testing lord ram dat's why he had got angry.dere r showing something different in dis serial.shiv never allowed sati 2 test ram.sati herself went dere

The one you have mentioned is the later part of this story. Accoring to that Shivji went in samadhi for around 8000 years. Here they are showing Sati's end soon after her marriage. There are many contradictions.

What distresses me about this story most, is not a fact of testing itselfm of Shiv's denial of Sati. Ok, it has been heard, maybe as controversial addition to puranas... But the problem is in interpretation... I dislike all the contradiction between Aadi Shakti and manushya roop. How could it be trhat after showing her rudra roop she suddenly turns into naive Sati.

I can understand it in terms of leela - when God makes something as if ignorantly, but aiming at some unknown goal. Why Sati's realisation as Aadi Shakti has been limited only to form, but not the essence of character?
