Nice post😊 SometimesI feel there is no difference between Satyuga & Kaliyuga as far as the false ego of a father like Daksh & a mother like Prasuti is concerned. His 5 elements are perfectly described. He is actually playing with his power & status. He did penance to get Devi Shakti as his daughter but now wants to controll her destiny. He can do that till Devi Shakti plays the role of his daughter. The day she realises her true identity she will not be in his control. May be Devi Shakti is showing us how as a daughter she fulfilled all her responsibalities, but has to move toward her future, has to unite with her soulmate. That is her true identity, being Daksh's daughter is just a passing stage of her journey.

Controlling Devi Shakti at times is difficulf for even Shivji, then who is Daksh, just a mortal made of 5 elements😊

Daksha as Prajapati...founder of society...made the laws, defined codes of conduct for mankind... He naturally considered himself to be someone special, someone superior to the others. He expected everyone to bow before him. Shivji did not do any such thing. As a Vairagi he kept away from civilization..He refused to indulge any social rules that promoted pomposity(adambar) in the name of respect. Anything pandering ego did not exist for Mahadev. This is the main reason Daksh hated Mahadev's guts. The fact that Mahadev considered him non-existent , not worthy of respect . Daksh was pompous, egoistic, , wanted adulation and glory...Everything Mahadev found inconsequential.

@Shali .. I know Sati was born as his daughter as a fruit of his Tapasya.. In his role as Prajapati and the starter of civilization he has forgotten the stature of Gods ..and the fact that his daughter Sati herself is Mother goddess Shakthi. He thinks she is his daughter and the pull of his blood is more . He has fallen into the world of Maya. He has forgotten who Sati is . What ever entity is born always returns back to the source . She has to return back to Shiv come what may. It is pre ordained whether Daksh likes it or not.

Daksha Prajyapati wasnt a villain,he was just plain arrogant-and after sometime his arrogance got the better of him and lead to his fall...which is a pity because Daksha was a Prajyapati but is sadly only remembered in History because he caused his own daughters death,and not because he infact helped to take the human race forward...

in fact the beauty of all our storied is that even someone like Daksh,the Manasputra of Brahma Ji however great he is shown to be,has a bad side to him,hence teaching us that however great a a person one bad quality can over shadow every good quality of that person...

About Prasuti,and his daughters too,what do you expect?,its still relevant in our male dominated society how much ever we advance in terms of technology or knowlege,Pati is always Parmeshwar however wrong he is...sadly,even today many woman dont think for themselfs!
