Ratings - 0.8 ! 🤣 Need I say pathetic ?? 😭

So , CVs , viewers ko taken for granted lene ka aur Deveera ko side line karne ka aur ek achhi bhali detective show ka kachda banane ka natija dekh liya ya aur dekhna baki hai ? 😉

Yayyy sooo happy that the viewers royally rejected Mehek / Vaani once again. 🥳

Whenever she enters , it spells doom and disaster for the ratings ! Ab akaal thikane pe aya kya CVs ?? 😆

Actually , casting Pooja in the role of Mehek was their worst mistake ! I'm sorry Pooja fans , I've nothing against her ( in fact being a bengali , I'm automatically more biased towards any Bengali actress ) but she can neither act nor have any special screen presence ( In other words yawn worthy bland ) or mass appeal . Plus , absolutely negative chemistry between PB n Ashish ! 😒

Also , let's not put all the blame on the actress only. The script failed her royally . Mehek's character is distasteful , almost bordering on vulgar due to the extremely revealing unclassy dressing style , which is some thing that Indian viewers are only used to see in a vamp and not in the heroine never ! That too not even in classy vamps ! ( Even they've classier dressing style ) .

She has absolutely nothing going on in her favour , in terms of character traits . Neither strong , nor any other endearing qualities. That false sweetness is so boring and unrelatable , that it reeks of faking. 🥱

The moment they started this pathetic Vaani Sahay aka Mehek came back track and all the Dev-Mehek/Vaani stuff , I knew ki muh pe girne wala hai in terms of ratings ! 🤣

Thank you so much Indian viewers , for proving my hunch absolutely correct . 👏 You proved once again that Mehek is the ultimate cause of rating disaster and reducing the hero's character to a love sick majnu , who's stuck up on his paagal wife , in fact borderline obsessed with her , and trying to show cheap love making scenes totally go against the sensitivity and taste of Indian tv viewers ! 😎 😛

Moral of the story - viewers ki feelings ke sath kheloge , aur loyal Dev-Meera fans ko Baba ji ka thullu do ge to muh pad giroge ! 😈 Ab tumhari wo fav Mehek tumhi ko mubarak ho ! Khud hi show banana uske upar , aur khud hi dekhna ! 🤣 Because no body else is interested to watch her at all , let alone watch her with Dev.🤣

Bas ab aur kya kehena ! Ratings are doing their own talking ! 😉

P.S. The only character that they cruelly side lined is our Queen Meera and Deveera build up was undone a lot ! So happy the makers got a big resounding slap on their face for this ! They had it coming like Karma on a white horse , bringing justice ! 😃

Ratings are the first and the most important thing when it comes to a show and all the persons associated with it . Let's face it , it may be just entertainment for us , but bread and butter for these people .

Secondly TRP is the reflection of what viewers want to see and what they reject . We must respect viewer's choice . Even Ashish himself has said , you can never say ratings is not important , it IS the ONLY important thing actually .

Now coming to the dismal ratings ( 0.8 ! This is shit man ! 😲😆 ) . Actually I'm very happy that the makers got a slap on their face in the form of such abysmal ratings and the future of the season 2 of the show is uncertain ( doomed is the word I'd say 😛 ) . The show was going pretty well ( except the highly irritating , repetitive flashbacks of Mehak , a character that quickly & efficiently gets on the viewers nerve & it helps nothing that Pooja can not act to save her life ! 🤔 ) and the story was getting more and more intriguing till they brought this absolutely crap Vani Sahay track .

Coming to your beautifully written post 👏 , I have nothing much else to add babe , but I'll just say , SAME OPINION here . I've the same opinion from the 1st day itself that Pooja is an absolute miscast in the role of Mehak , simply because she can not act ( which becomes more prominent onscreen as Ashish is such a fantastic gifted actor ) & have absolutely no chemistry with Ashish .

But if we want to do justice to her it is not entirely the fault of the actress . The so called 'lovestory' of Mehak-Dev that the makers tried to feed the viewers came off across as very shallow , based on lust & most importantly no build up or emotional connect between the two . But as she was dead & I thought she'd stay dead , it didn't bother viewers.

But then CVs made the biggest mistake by bringing her back as Vani Sahay & again starting this Dev-Mehak nonsense that no sane viewers could tolerate . Their second huge mistake was sidelinning Dev-Meera budding relationship , a pair that become instant hit & ignoring Meera in the last 4 episodes when she is an absolute fan favorite . May be even more than Dev himself .

That is actually irritating to hear. They literally ruined a good show. The show has sooo much potential. They wasted a lot of time with this Vani Mehek track. Pooja is gorgeous but, she just didn't fit with the established characters and their chemistry. Not to forget Dev Meera that so many people were shipping. Instead of developing that story, they went on a completely nonsensical track. I hope they make good use of the remaining 4 episodes and regain the original beauty of the show. So Season 2 can actually be considered and we'll received.

Buddy , the ratings of the last few episodes are spelling doom for the idea of season 2 . Please remember that neither channel , nor PH , nor any actors confirmed or even hinted anything about season 2 coming . It was most probably at a discussion stage between the channel & the PH . Of course it all depended on the ratings of the show & I'm sad to say with the current TRP ( 0.8 is TOO LOW ) the chance of getting a season 2 is very very thin .

0.8 for weekend is anything but okay buddy . Fear Files that airs on Zee Tv at the same time slot , Saturday-Sunday gets ratings of 2-2.2 which is 2.5 times the rating of our show . That will give you an idea .

Yes yes the Delhi Times Interview , where they asked Ashish about ratings etc. , he said firmly that ratings reflect viewer's choice and interest and you must respect that ! 👏 (#RespectToAshish ) .

When shows like Fear files , which are also weekend shows and have the same late night slot are getting superb ratings , triple of that of our show , this pathetic ratings shows clear like daylight that Mehek / Vaani track is an epic failure !

isn't fear files on nagin level😆 we also tried the horror route but it had mixed reaction...thanks for reply.
