Chapter 37

Manyta stood outside the office canteen. She saw uday with a fellow colleague. They were in deep conversation, uday's back was turned to her. So he would not see her. He covered her head with her shawl such that only her face was visible, and her eyes remained hidden behind the goggles

Careful not to make noise and catch his attention manyta went inside and asked for a cup of tea. She kept glancing in that direction but uday was too busy to notice her presence

She took her tea and took a seat behind uday. their talk was more clear now

"what were you doing all these days, dreaming? I WANTED THAT FILE ON MY TABLE TODAY AND YOU SAY ITS NOT READY. I told you 3 weeks back. did not I ? "

" sir, but last week you told me to take the work slow, and that the deal was not important. You told me to concentrate on the sharma's deal and get the report done"

" let me make myself clear mr Arman" said uday in a very dangerous tone which manyta immediately associated with mr shark. A shiver ran down her spine. It brought a feeling of fear in her heart. Uday continued "I did say I wanted to concentrate on that sharma's deal, BUT that did NOT mean I never wanted the report on my desk. Submit that report by 3 pm tomorrow or start looking for a new job" it was a clear dismissal. The employee whose name was arman got up and left. Manyta heard uday mumbling I pay them a king's ransom and they can't get the work done on time, ******"

Uday had finished his tea and rose from his chair. As he started to leave he noticed the lady sitting behing him. must be someone in the accounts department' he thought. But then a second look confirmed his worst fears "manyta!!" he called

Manyta understood that uday had spotted her. She stood up and took her goggles away. Her eyes clearly showed she knew he was lying and she was terrible hurt

" manyta? How"

M: uday , I know WHAT YOU ARE ..."

U: enough, lets talk in my cabin. (clearly noticing that the people in the canteen was watching this scene. Better safe than sorry. So he had to cut her out

M: WHY SHOULD I LISTEN????

U: I SAID LET US TALK IN MY CABIN

And uday dragged manyta away from there before she could make a scene

"leave me uday, I said leave me" she struggled to loosen his grip, but it was like fighting a brick wall. Uday took her to his cabin and told her through clenched teeth" why did you come here?"

M: because I came here I know the truth

U : manyta, let me... (he interrupted in a pleading voice)

M: save yourself from more lies, I know what you will say. (she imitated his voice) manyta I got back my memory today morning, SO the FIRST thing I remembered was my office, so I came here' and that Is what I saw, isn't it uday

U: no manyta, i..

M: enough uday, I don't think I can take more lies from your side. Its over uday. I thought, I SERIOUSLY thought you were not well because of me and YOU took advantage of me, na, again DO NOT EVER come to my life. I HATE YOU

U: manyta, please, listen to me. I have changed, truly. But you would never accept me with ...

M: I don't want ANYMORE LIES. You do what ever you want. Do business in the morning and kill people at night. You will never change

U: manyta, I need you, please don't leave me

M: too LATE UDAY, YOU PROVED THAT I CAN NEVER EVER believe you.

U: you cant leave me manyata (uday's voice started to lose the softness and the anger was clear in his voice.

M: (with equal anger) I CAN UDAY, AND I WILL

U: if you leave me, the consequences would BE VERY BAD(threatened uday)

M: I don't care

U: not EVEN WHEN ITS YOUR FAMILY WHO WOULD HAVE TO PAY.

M: I have no family , so you cant threaten me that way. I am leaving uday. DO NOT EVER COME BEHIND me

U: YOU WILL SUFFER FOR THIS MANYTA

He grabbed her wrist and it pained manyta" leave me uday"

Their fight was broken when there was a knock at the door. It diverted their attention for a moment and that moment was enough for uday to free her hand and leave the cabin

2 souls were broken that day. One sat in his cabin unable to do anything, the anger in him rising and clouding his judgment. The other left the building in tears. She was cheated again by him and it was like death to her, the uday she knew was dead.

Manyta did not know how she had returned to her office. Tears continuously spilled out as she was too emotional. Betrayal after betrayal had let her broken, she sat in the parking lot for god knows how many hours, finally she knew she had to move on, she carefully wiped her face and applied make up before moving to her cabin. She just could not hold her tears and again started crying when her mobile phone rang , it was adhi.

Should she answer? Yes otherwise he would get worried, she tried to calm herself so that her voice would not give her away

"hallo?" she whispered

" hey baby, how are you? Missed you, you know last night was so nice, we should hold more parties, don't you think so?

" ye... yee.. i..."

" manyta! Are you crying?"

" no adhi, no, I am not" and she burst out crying again

She could not talk anymore. 10 minutes later there was a knock on her door. The door flew open because of lack of response from manyta's side. Adhi rushed to manyta's side and scooped her in his hands.

" manyta!! Manyta why are you crying? For god's sake I am asking you, answer me"

"its nothing adhi, just no..nothing" she sobbed

" manyta you better tell me the truth"

" its... its.. uday..."

" what is about uday? what did he do?"

Manyta was too emotional and told adhi the whole truth of uday cheating her faking his amnesia. But she did NOT say about uday's past or his actions as mr shark

" its ok love. Calm down. Maybe he did this because he loved you. Isn't that a valid possibility?"

" no, I know uday, he does not love me, and if you love someone this is not the way you behave. He cheated me"

" cant you give him atleat one chance?"

" adhi, please. He does not deserve another chance."

" but still?"

" adhi, see you have such a good mind, that is why you are speaking so selflessly,if it was someone else they would have told that it was my fault, yet you are here asking to him another chance. I am so sorry adhi, please. Let us give our relation another chance, I feel so GUILTY"

" ok manyta, as you say. I always loved you and will wait for you. You are my first love" and he hugged her tightly . manyta melted in his hands

Uday sat in his room with a glass of strong whisky in his hands, he took a sip. The ice he had put in the drink was not helping to calm his already raging veins. If a person's anger could be like fire, uday would have been an uncontrollable forest fire destroying everything on his path. His anger made the sun's core like a ice candy.(the core of the sun has a temperature of 60000000 Kelvin, lol)

The images of his encounter with manyata flashed in front of his eyes

"I don't want ANYMORE LIES. You do whatever you want. Do business in the morning and kill people at night. You will never change"

"I thought, I SERIOUSLY thought you were not well because of me and YOU took advantage of me, "

" DO NOT EVER come to my life. I HATE YOU"

"YOU PROVED THAT I CAN NEVER EVER believe you. "

each words was like a stab to his heart

He did not want to lose her, that is why he played all this drama, even then he knew that one day this mask would be blown away, but today when it actually happened it hurt him, it pained him and this pain was what came out as his anger.

He knew his mind very well . the way his mind went during extreme anger was for the worse. He could feel mr shark in him taking control over this thoughts and body. And once Mr Shark took full control, only god knows what would happen. Manyta would suffer, very badly. But more than physical pain it was the emotional pain that would break her, mr shark would start with her family, her weak point, which she so stubbornly refused to believe. And it would start with her sister. Mr sharks started putting gruesome pictures of revenge in uday's mind

Alcohol in his system also made matters worse. It was sure that manyta would have many sleepless nights in the near future

Chapter 38

One week later

Manyta was in her cabin when her mobile beeped to announce that she had a new message. She picked the phone and opened the message. It was from uday

Manyta love,

I had told you don't mess with me, you never listen, do you?

You made a HUGE mistake and now you must pay for it

Come to my house NOW and you would love to see the scene in front of you, it's a surprise!!

Ps: your sister has one heck of a body, just beautiful!!

Manyta was petrified reading that message. Anyone would have mistaken for a stone statue if they did not see her breathe. What has he done now? That too with her sister, fear engulfed her. She rose from her seat and literally ran to her car. Without bothering to inform her driver or manager she drove towards uday's house like a mad person.

She ran the remaining steps to his house and entered the hall. A feeling or forbearing was thick in the air. She heard a pained moan from one of the bed room, with a heavy heart she took each step , the scene in the room shocked her. Jai was lying on the floor, naked, her clothes were scattered here and there. From where she stood she could see only the upper half of the body. Her body was full of bruises, which was an indication that she was raped, and on top of her lay uday , sucking her lips as if still giving her a open mouth kiss. He too was naked

"UDAYY!!!!!" screamed manyta

Uday looked over and saw manyta there , he quickly got up from there, totally naked, manyta turned her head away in disgust, he picked up the towel and wrapped his lower body with it and came by her side

"manyta, its.."

BAMMM, a tight slap landed on uday's face. The look on manyta's face was simply ferocious

" you, scum, good for nothing, HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO MY SISTER, YOU SHOULD ROT IN HELLL"

Before she could say anything uday twisted her neck and manyta slumped down unconscious

She had no recollection of about how she reached the hospital. All she remembered was she was sitting outside the ICU where her sister was admitted and she sat next to a lady in pardah. The doctor had informed that jai mwas r her to live or die. Manyta had informed adhi about the incident and felt glad that she had atleast adhi to comfort her. She sat there lifeless from morning to evening not even leaving her seat for even a cup of tea. She looked weak. Adhiraj joined her in the evening.

A: manyta, I sent my men to his house, he has disappeared. but are you sure it was him?

U: adhi, I was there, I saw what he did to my sister. I really wish he was dead, na want to kill him with my bare hands. That creep needs to die inch by inch. The lady in the pardah flinched hearing the word kill, adhi asked manyta to keep her temper under control, lest they draw attention to themselves.

A: are you not informing the police?

M: no, I cant do that, I cant risk my sister's reputation nor our family name. uday knows that that is why he played with my family. Please dhi, please kill him for me. Please I want him dead.

A: manyta, you are not in the right frame of mind, let the law do its work, we are not gods to decide such punishments

M: but still...

A: don't think about that, now we need to be worried about jai only. Uday will reap what he sowed. I will find him for you and for my family(referring to the fact that manyta's family was also his family)

M: what will I do without you adhi?

A: calm down manyta, I got to go now, we got to trap uday

M: bring me only good news,, and...

A: and...

M: be careful, don't underestimate uday.

A: you don't believe me, I know uday, I know he is a weakling.

Manyta just hoped adhi was right about uday, but she knew him better, he was one heck of a killing machine and now he hurt her family to get even with her. She HAD enough. Tinme for uday to suffer and adhi would help her in that

The next day, 8 in the morning

Adhi finally got good news . uday was captured by his men. He asked them to bring uday to his old ice factory in the outskirts of the city

"if you want you can see her now" said jai's doctor to manyta.

Manyta wiped her tears and walked inside and saw her sister in the midst of many life saving machines

A: "so uday, finally I got you", and he slapped uday's face. Blood started to flow out of uday's mouth and he spit it on adhi's face, he was mad, really mad at adhi

Adhi was shocked and kicked uday. uday stumbled down. Uday looked around, there was 5 goons in addition to adhi.

" time to call manyta, she wanted to kill you for hurting her sister, you are going to be dead meat uday, then only will I be able to give manyta what I want" said adhi

He dialed manyta's number and waited for her to attend the call

"hallo" said a soft voice

A: manyta I got uday, he is my old ice factory .come soon, I will give you what you wanted, the law does not matter anymore. Uday ought to die"

M: yes, I am coming

Adhi looked at uday with a look of pure hatred . he said" you deserve to die for what you did."

Manyta entered the factory and she was escoted to the place where uday and adhi was by one of adhi's goons. She had controlled her anger till she got here. The person who had hurt her sister was still alive. she saw adhi and uday who was tied to a chair

She marched straight to her sister's rapist and screamed " I know the truth, how could you stoop so low, it was my sister, my baby sister, how could you do that to me"

Uday who was trying to free his hands from the ropes that tied him to the chair, finally managed to set himself free. He pushed manyta away and kicked adhi, the goons were so surprised to move

"enough of the drama here, enough " he screamed " you think you both can leave this place alive, then you are mistaken, all this time I remained silent and took your blows just to see how much you both would go on. These men are my people and they will kill if I tell them to. You messed up with the wrong person. Manyta is mine and I want here, do what you can to save her, I enjoyed jai, because I wanted her the moment I saw her. I don't regret it, boys kill him" saying these words he dragged manyta along with him. manyta started to struggle as she was repulsed by his touch" leave me , I said leave"

He was left alone with the goons as he watched his love being snatched by his enemy, he decide to react but tere were the goons. The goons looked ready to pounce on him and then they did . he fought them bravely and within 5 minutes they were on the ground.

He ran to the place were he heard manyta's scream. He broke opened the door and saw that the other person was trying to force himself on manyta." First jai now manyta,I wont allow it " saying this he charged on the other person

Adhi charged on uday and pushed him down. The fight was so bad that it was like to mountains fighting. Manyta grew scared at the intensity of the fight. It was the fight you say" fight to death"

They fought very badly, both uday and adhi was badly injured, yet they fought. Finally they reached the machine where ice blocks were broken to fine ice for the fishing industry. There were 2 workers who came to help their boss, and uday easily took them down, it was when adhi hit his head with a rod.

He lay on the floor, blood flowing from his head. His enemy and manyta was near him

" kill him , she said kill him for what he did to my sister"

He too wanted to kill him. he deserved to die, yet he could not get his hands to do that

" what happened ?" asked manyta

" I cant kill him, please"

" do it for me please, otherwise he would escape if we take him to law" pleaded manyta

He made up his mind. He would have to kill him. the law had too many loop holes that would help the bas**d escape.

He stood up and went over to the ice grinding machine and took some powdered ice and rolled it in a ball.

He came and stuffed the ice in the rapist's mouth, deep down. The rapist felt suffocation and panicked around, but he was too weak and he was semi conscious after the blow on his head. Within minutes he breathed his last. He hugged manyta and comforted her

They stood by the tombstone that read " udayveer singh"

M: how could anyone be so cruel" she asked

" leave it manyta, it is good that he died than remain a burden on this earth"

ONE YEAR LATER

Manyta was happily married and was 4 months pregnant. Jai recovered from her trauma and was well now.. she married her therapist about a month back, they had gone to london for their honey moon. today was their first wedding anniversary. Her husband was away on a business deal and she was expecting him. mr shark was a chapter they both refused to talk as it brought many bad memories for manyata. Her husband greatly supported her and was patient with her. Now they both felt complete as their junior was coming into the world in about 5 months. Her husband had already decorated their nursery and the room had more toys than a average toyshop.

She sat in their balcony, thinking about her peaceful married life, when her mobile beeped

She took her mobile and checked her inbox

"my princess, its about a year since we met.

You thought you buried me under that tombstone?

Na, you are mistaken. I am very much alive and have come for you

Look up manyta and you will see me, I have come to finish some matters I left earlier

I see you are enjoying your life with your husband , will he agree to share you with me
