Meanwhile manyata was walking like a robot and when she was out of the hospital the cold wind was hitting her face slowly reducing the numbness in her body... vijay who went behind manyata saw her standing outside and ran towards her when he saw her dropping onto the ground...her body shaking a s she started sobbing really loudly remembering what pia told her and the moments she spent with raj... People who were going in and out of the hospital were looking at manyata making vijay rush to his sister... he pulled her up from where she was sitting and took her to the corner away from the crowd and luckily nobody can disturb them. Vijay pulled manyata close to him hugging her tightly and feeling angry at the thought of having a friend like raj

Vijay: shhh manu calm down he said stroking her head still feeling her shaking in his arms. After few minutes he could feel she had calmed down a bit but knew she was crying silently.

Manyata: y did he become so greedy vijay bhai...she said letting the tears fall silently

Vijay: I don't know manu maybe he was like that from before but we just never noticed it... u know manu when I went to see pia this morning I asked her who did this to her and she told me raj name... I could have come and told u at home but then thought its best the pia tells u what happened that night so that at least u know that uday is innocent... u made a mistake in the past by blaming uday and still continued to accuse him till now but its time u correct ur mistake manyata.

Manyata: I cant face him vijay bhai... I kept on blaming him that he is the cause of pia condition... how will he react when he gets to know that my own boyfriend was the cause of pias condition and I blamed him

Vijay: he already knows... Manyata looked up at vijay shockingly.

Manyata: he knows? How?

Vijay: manyata when pia was telling u what happened uday and rajveer came at the time and we three came into the room but u guys didn't noticed...

Manyata: i...i... didn't notice u guys... vijay cupped manyata cheeks

Vijay: u didn't notice because u were shocked with the information pia gave u.

Manyata: vijay will uday forgive me? Vijay looked at manyata for few seconds before answering.

Vijay: maybe... u will only find out once u go up to him... Manyata nodded. vijay put his arms around manyata shoulder and both walked back into the hospital... they were walking towards pias room when dr shilpa was coming from the other end. Manyata saw her and walked towards her with vijay

Manyata: dr shilpa thank u so much... usually doctors would give up hope on patients like pia... but u still continued to do her treatment even when she didn't show any response in the beginning. Today thanks u to pia is perfectly fine... dr shilpa smiled and placed a hand on manyata shoulder

Dr shilpa: manyata u know y I didt give up on pia its because I saw faith in ur eyes that one day pia will be fine... and that is what gave me hope also so please don't say thanks to me. Pia is lucky to have a friend like u she said with a smile and but then slowly that smile went away and she continued... manyata pia is fine but as u know this was a rape case we would have to call the police so they can take pia statement

Vijay: dr shilpa we know that the police have to take pias statement but we don't want anyone to find out about her.

Dr shilpa: don't worry pia name wont come out in the open I assure u that... manyata gave a grateful smile to shilpa

Manyata: thank u so much... Erm dr shilpa I have a small request... Vijay looked at manyata confusingly

Dr shilpa: wt request manyata.

Manyata: is it k if I can use ur cabin for few mins... I need to talk to someone privately.

Dr shilpa: well if it is important then sure u can. But only for 5-10 mins as after that I have a patient coming to see me

Manyata: thank u... shilpa left form there

Vijay: manyata y did... but he couldn't complete as manyata answered him.

Manyata: vijay bhai i want to talk to uday alone I need to apologise to him... can u please call him to dr shilpa room... Vijay just nodded and went to tell uday while manyata went to dr shilpa cabin.

Vijay entered pias room to see how uday and rajveer were busy talking to pia. And all looked at him when he walked towards them.

Pia: vijay bhai where is manyata she said looking behind vijay.

Vijay: she is here... uday manyata wants to talk to u alone she is waiting for u in dr shilpa room which is on the left side.

Rajveer: what does she want to talk about?

Vijay: rajveer I know manyata has hurt u guys a lot but she is regretting right now... uday please... uday nodded and left the room... it took him a minute to find dr shilpa room and when he opened the door he saw manyata facing the window... as he closed the door manyata turned towards him none of them spoke... manyata looked at uday face but couldn't find any emotions. She remembered all those things she said to him in the past and bowed her head down and spoke slowly.

Manyata: ud...uday as u know pia told us who was responsible for her state... and after knowing the truth im sorry for blaming u for something u didn't do...I seriously feel guilty... uday without thinking I said anything to u when u were not a fault but believe me at that time I didn't know what to do seeing pia in that state and her mentioning ur name, seeing ur watch next to her put me in a doubt and without trying to think properly I blamed u... im extremely sorry uday I seriously regret saying all that to u... i...I don't know if u will forgive me but please try and understand me... Manyata looked at uday with her teary eyes and saw him looking the other way and he didn't look at her for a second

Uday: r u done? Manyata looked at uday.

Manyata: I know u r angry with me and hurt by my accusation but if possible please forgive me uday... uday smirked coldly and turned to face manyata.

Uday: oh really manyata...if pia hadn't come out of coma u would still be blaming me... and ur lover raj will be enjoying his life without any worry of been caught right?... he went near her and starting walking in circles around her... but that is not the case as the truth had to come out at some point... manyata u just asked me to forgive u but think how I felt three years ago when u blamed me something I didn't do in front of my friends and some students... because of u I didn't feel the same some people looked at me as if I was a creep... but thanks to god that all ended soon. He stopped moving around in circle and stood in front of her... What r u going to do now manyata after finding out who the real culprit is. R u going to try and save ur lover boy?

Manyata: uday... Suddenly manyata phone rang and she looked at the caller id uday who was standing near her saw the name flashing on her phone and looked at her angrily.

Uday: well I will leave u alone since ur raj is calling u he said sarcastically and left the cabin... manyata didn't answer the call and dropped on the couch trying to control her emotion the phone stopped ringing but after few seconds it started ringing again... she wiped her tears sitting there for few mins before leaving the cabin.

Manyata entered pia room and walked towards vijay standing next to him... she looked at uday who was standing with rajveer and followed their gaze to see they were looking at pia but then she also noticed that the police was standing next to dr shilpa and looking at some folder which had pia's report. One of the inspector sat down on a small stool.

Inspector: miss pia sharma this might be hard for u but u need to tell us everything that happened with u and we will make sure ur name is not out.

Pia: k. she said looking at manyata... manyata looked at pia but could also feel uday, rajveer when vijay looking at her when they saw pia looking towards her.

Inspector: good now can u tell us what was happening on the day u got raped

Pia: we... we had a party at our uni as all the students were going to move into a new year of uni and this was going to be my second year... we all were enjoying when my friend got a call and she went out to answer it... it took a while but my friend was not back when all of a sudden somebody came to give me a note.

Inspector: what was in that note?

Pia: in the note it said meet me in room 203 near the canteen its urgent and don't tell anyone. I need ur help right now please come soon. Manyata

Inspector: manyata? Who is this manyata?

Pia: manyata is my friend who got a call and went outside to answer it.

Inspector: what happened after?... pia didn't know if she should continue and looked at manyata again.

Pia: I left the dance floor and went to room 203 and when I reached there it was empty.

Inspector: then? Pia couldn't continue she didn't know if she could tell the inspector the truth as she knew how dearly manyata loved raj and now she was confused if she should tell the truth to the inspector or hide it.

Pia: I cant say anymore and with that she broke down

Inspector: we know this is hard for u but until u don't tell us the truth we wont be able to find the culprit unless if u want us to do the investigation on ur friend who sent the note.

Pia: she didn't send the note... pia said still crying... manyata went and sat down on pia bed and took her in her arms and was cradling pia.

Manyata: its k calm down and tell them pia

Pia: but u?

Manyata: u will hurt me if u try to save raj tell them the truth... the inspector looked at them both

Inspector: and u r?

Manyata: im pia friend manyata. Before the inspector could ask manyata question pia spoke

Pia: im sorry inspector I kind of lost control on my emotion... she broke the hug but kept hold of manyata hand

Inspector: its k. will u be able to continue... pia nodded

Pia: when I went into the room I didn't find manyata when all of a sudden the door closed and when I turned around I saw raj there

Inspector: who is this raj.

Pia: manyata boyfriend... the inspector was surprised and looked at manyata and raised his eyebrows

Inspector: ur friends boyfriend?

Pia: yes he was the one who had written that note in the name of manyata

Inspector: y?

Pia: on that day in the morning I went to the mall to buy a dress when I saw raj at the mall and I was going to say hi to him when I went near him... he was speaking to some guy and was talking about drug deal by doing a fake business deal with one of his friend so his illegal work stays a secret.

Inspector: did his friend know about this drug deal

Pia: no he didn't... but raj was saying he was trying to get his friends signature on some fake business but they declined the offer as they r not ready to start any new projects then that person left who was with raj

Inspector: do u know the friend who was going to do a fake business deal with

Pia: he is vijay bhai manyata brother.

Inspector: strange... what happened next

Pia: when I was about to confront him I saw this girl running into his arm and he was promising to marry her... I didn't know what to do as it was all shocking... then raj saw me and I gave him a chance and told him to tell manyata the truth himself but he didn't.

Inspector: then did u tell ur friend the truth he said looking at manyata then back at pia

Pia: I wasn't able to tell her at that time I was about to leave the room when he stopped me and told me that nobody can come between him and manyata and with that he rap... pia didn't continue and hugged manyata

Inspector: I know this is really hard for u but miss pia u have to continue so we know the full story... did anyone see him?

Pia: no... my friend uday she said pointing towards uday... He was trying to break the door when he heard my scream... when uday was trying to break the door open raj banged the back of my head against the wall very hard and ran away from there and by then uday came in. uday did go after him but I didn't know if he found raj or not because by that time manayata came and I tried to tell her what happened however I wasn't able to tell her the whole truth since i couldn't speak properly and with that I fainted

Inspector: well miss manyata what happened after that.

Manyata: seeing pia in that state I took her from there with the help of my driver and took her to the hospital...but it was too late as the doctor told me that because of the head injury she slipped into coma I was shocked and didn't know what to do so I came back to india and continued pia treatment over here.

Inspector: didn't u doubt on anyone at that time.

Manyata: no. I didn't... rajveer and uday looked at each other remembering all the word she said to uday.

Inspector: is ur brother here? Manyata nodded and vijay came forward.

Vijay: inspector im vijay rathord

Inspector: did u have any business deals before with mr raj before and were u aware about his illegal business

Vijay: no he was my friend since college days and we did plan to do a business deal together but it never really worked out in fact I got to know by pia today that he was trying to get me sign a fake business deal to hide his illegal work but at that time me and my dad were not ready to start any new project.

Inspector: what is raj's full name

Vijay: raj singhania

Inspector: shinde he said calling one of the constable

Shinde: ji sir?

Inspector: shinde fine the details of this raj singhania

Manyata: inspector I need to tell u something

Inspector: go ahead

Manyata: raj is in paris right now

Inspector: shinde call the police over there and tell them about this raj singhania and give us a call when they have found him... the constable nodded and left from there along with the inspector who assured everyone in the room again that media wont get to know about pia.

Vijay: pia u take care now we will come to see u soon... me and mnyata have to go now as we made some excuse at home and also I need to go to the office.

Pia: its k vijay bhai I understand. Pia and manyata looked at each other and then hugged tightly.

Manyata: I love u take care.

Pia: love u too... and no I wont take care of myself as I know u will be there to take care of me.

Manyata looked at uday who didn't look at her but then looked at rajveer and she gave him a small smile. Vijay and manyata left the room and after a while uday and rajveer also had to leave.

Vijay had dropped manyata home and left for office when she assured him she will be fine... when she entered the mansion she saw mrinalini sitting there along with shanti, vasu and komal

Mrinalini: look here comes manyata.

Manyata walked towards them and took blessing of shanti and vasu who blessed and hugged her back... she sat down next to komal

Manyata: aunty where is unnati.

Vasu: beta she has gone out with jagat... manyata nodded

Komal: what a coincidence... this morning manyata and vijay went shopping while jai had to go work and at ur house jagat and unnati went shopping... it seems like it is siblings shopping day

Manyata: ma im going to my room. Komal nodded and manyata left from there when she closed the door of her room she leaned against it slowly sliding down and letting the tears flow out... her chest was paining really badly because of raj... he broke her heart by doing this to her best friend... and all of a suddenly she felt anger against him recalling every word pia said and walked towards her wardrobe and took out his picture from the diary... along with some letters, cards everything that he had given to her and placed it in a bag... manyata left her room and went to the terrace she took everything out of the bag and threw it on the floor looking at it one last time she took out the matches and threw it on the items burning everything away which were slowly turning into ashes. Imli (servant) who came to the terrace after few mins saw manyata standing there and when she went near she was the burnt items and paper that turned into ashes and looked at manyata

Imli: manyata didi what is this.

Manyata: just removing some unwanted things from my life she said looking at the last bit of paper getting burnt.

Imli: what r u saying

Manyata: nothing let me help u clean this up... imli held on to manyata arm

Imli: didi I will do it u seem tired y don't u go and rest.

Manyata: thank u... manyata came back in her room and picked up her phone and dialled raj number who answered it on the ring... raj didn't greet manyata and asked her question straight away

Raj: manyata where the hell were r u I called u twice but u didn't answer ur phone do u know how worried I was? U could have at least texted? I called vijay earlier but he just cut my call? R u even listening to me?

Manyata: I am. She said not feeling the love she had for this man.

Raj: doesn't seem like it he said annoyingly. Anyways lets not spoil our mood... what did u do today he said all lovingly... manyata closed her eyes

Manyata: raj I need to tell u some things that have been going on over here

Raj: what do u want to tell me?

Manyata: raj my marriage has been fixed with someone. Raj who was relaxing on his chair sat straight.

Raj: ur joking right? He said trying to control his anger

Manyata: no im serious

Raj: don't play with me manyata and stop this joke...we have been together for 5 years I called u few days back and told u when I come back to india I will ask ur parents to give permission for me to marry u. manyata laughed but it was a fake one

Manyata: Im not playing around with u raj in fact u have been playing around.

Raj: what r u saying.

Manyata: have patients raj I told u the first news and now I have a solution to this problem

Raj: what? He said with some hope thinking manyata wont let their relationship break

Manyata: lets break our relation raj. We should end it. I got engaged last night.

Raj: first u tell me ur marriage got fixed and now u tell me this bullshit that u got engaged last night and u didn't bother to call me up to let me know about this... have u lost it manyata

Manyata: no I guess u have lost it.

Raj: im coming there on the next flight manyata to hell with this business deal

Manyata: why raj ur business is more important than me as far as I know

Raj: manyata u know that is not true.

Manyata: really then what will happen to ur illegal business she said mockingly... raj had a stunned expression on his face

Raj: what illegal business r u talking about manyata u know I don't do that.

Manyata: u don't remember... oh god how stupid of me how can u remember u probably have so many that its hard to keep a count on them well let me tell u im talking about the illegal business that u were trying to do with my brother and dad by doing a fake business deal with them so that all ur dirty work could be done and nobody will suspect u she said coldly.

Raj: who said this to u?

Manyata: who said this to me? It's the person who had been in coma for that last 3 years only because of u. its my friend who caught u at the mall discussing about some illegal business deal at the mall and how u promised to marry some girl at the mall... its my pia im talking about when u called her into a room by writing a note with my name and then when she was going to tell me the truth u stopped her and... manyata stopped as she felt horrible remembering all that she had tears in her eyes but she didn't let he voice crack at all.

Raj: but pia is in coma. Then how?

Manyata: the answer to ur stupid question is that pia is out of coma totally fine... and now u will pay the price for her state so get ready mr raj singhania.

Raj: u cant do that to me manyata? U cant leave me because of all this.

Manyata: what makes u think I will stay with u even after this... don't u even feel ashamed of what u did with pia? ... I must salute u raj ur such a good actor all those year I kept giving u information about pia telling u how she is... what the doctors r saying about her improvement... like a stupid person I kept telling u every single detail thinking u will understand me and also will care for pia but no I was wrong how would u understand me and care for pia when u r the cause for all of this.

Raj: what about our love... our relation dammit for five year we have been together and now ur leaving me for this small thing... fine if u want I will apologise to pia for the sake of us ... manyata lost it now

Manyata: don't raj... don't even talk about love if u truly loved me u would have told me everything... but yes if u thought after knowing ur truth and the type of business u do... trying to fool my parents I would still accept u at that time then the answer would have been no and it would be a no this time too... there is no us anymore so just get it in ur head raj I ended my relationship with u the moment I got to know ur filthy truth... ITS OVER BETWEEN US AND DON'T CONTACT ME ANYMORE. U will be punished for what u did.

Raj: I wont let u go easily manyata just remember that and with that he cut the call... manyata looked at the call and laid on her bed letting the tears flow and empty her heart that was filled with pain and betrayal that raj caused her... And on top of that he didn't even feel guilty... after a while she sat up and wiped her tears

Manyata to herself: I wish if I knew ur true face earlier raj... whatever happened with pia was bad but because of her we all know the true face of u... I blamed uday when he tried to tell me he is innocent... I hope u forgive me soon uday she said and wiped her tears and went to the washroom to freshen up. She was too exhausted today plus today was a good and bad day for her. Good because pia was out of coma and bad because the culprit turned out to be someone she loved but all he did was betray her.
