In the afternoon uday was in his office trying to read a file but he was not able to seeing pia in that state... and he prayed that she gets better soon... uday closed the file and rested his chin on his hand looking into space... he looked at the time and saw it was 4 and thought of going home, freshen up and get changed into something causal as he also had to go to the airport to pick up rajveer .., vasu was surprised to see uday coming in early
Vasu: uday beta how comes u r early today
Uday: mom do me a favour
Vasu: kya (what)
Uday: please tell one of the maid to clean the guest room
Vasu: y? who is coming?
Uday: mom u will know soon just do that much for me... before vasu could say anything uday ran into his room to freshen up around 5 he was all ready and was coming down when vasu held his hands stopping him near the stairs
Vasu beta at least tell me who is coming... uday smiled and saw that jagat was also waiting for him to answer
Uday: mom I told na u will know soon ok have patients and with that he left
Vasu: jagat beta do u know who is coming
Jagat: no ma bro didn't say anything.
Uday had reached to the airport around 5:50 thanks to the less traffic but he still had to wait as rajveer's flight was going to land around 6... it was around 615 and uday was waiting patiently when he saw his friend coming towards with a smile on his face... both hugged each other and stayed liked that for few minutes...
(rajveer lives in new york with his parents... he is uday friend form uni days as u all know that ... when they both finished uni from New York uday went back to london to his family and rajveer also went with him for a small vacation so that is how he met giri, vasu and jagat... and rajveer is now meeting uday after 1 or 2 years...this is just to clear out any confusion if u still have any confusion don't hesitate to ask J)
Rajveer broke the hug and placed his hands on uday shoulder and moved a step back examining his friend

Rajveer: seriously u can lie to anyone else but not me so spill it out... uday closed his eyes for a minute and closed the car boot door and then turned towards rajveer who was waiting for him to reply.
Uday: I will tell u later. Now come lets go. Both sat in the car and headed home
Meanwhile vasu was sitting in the hall cutting apple for shanti
Shanti: vasu beta what is wrong u seem quite. She said placing a piece of apple in her mouth
Vasu: ma uday said someone is coming today and he said we will know soon but im wondering who is coming she said butting the last slice of the apple and gave it to shanti... she got up to go to the kitchen when she saw uday walk in and went towards him but before she could ask shanti spoke
Shanti: uday vasu is saying someone is coming but ur not telling who... and all ur mum has been doing is thinking who might be coming so before she gets mad tell her otherwise her curiosity will increase to another height she said teasingly... vasu looked at her mother in law with her mouth slightly opened... uday went and sat next to shanti.
Vasu: maaa
Shanti: k fine uday now at least tell us who is coming
Uday: ok fine wait... U can come in now he said a bit loudly so rajveer could hear as he was standing downstairs... uday was looking at the vasu and shanti who had their eyes glued to the door... but soon a smile appeared on vasu face when she saw rajveer and went to hug him
Vasu: rajveer beta tum how r u she said breaking the hug and placed her hand on his cheek
Rajveer: im fine choti ma how r u
Vasu: im good beta... and I am really happy to see u.
Uday: rajveer this is my dadi and dadi this is my best friend rajveer ... rajveer went towards shanti and took her blessing
Dadi: khush raho... rajveer beta u came at the right time as tomorrow is ur friends engagement she said smiling at uday. Rajveer gave a fake smile and looked at uday.
Vasu: uday beta rajveer room is the one next to urs...show him the room so he can freshen up and also giriraj will be coming soon till then I will go and see if the dinner is ready so that we can eat early and also rajveer could rest after that as he must be tired
Uday: ok mom... come rajveer I will show u ur room
Rajveer: ok... uday showed rajveer the room
Uday: rajveer I will be in my room till then freshen up.

uday went to his room and rajveer went to freshen up... after rajveer finished he went to udays room and saw his friend sitting on the bean bag and typing away on his laptop ... rajveer went and sat down on another bean bag which was next to uday.
Rajveer: im waiting uday... uday closed his laptop and looked at rajveer who was sitting patiently
Uday: rajveer few days ago manyata came here with her family as mom told them that pandit ji will be coming to finalise the engagement and wedding date... on that day when they were about leave I heard manyata telling her brother that they had to go city hospital and she doesn't want anyone to find out about pia... at hearing pia name I decided to go to city hospital to confirm my doubts if pia is in hospital... I waited outside till manyata and her brother vijay left and went in after to find out saw pia laying on the bed I went inside to see her still laying in the same position looking at the ceiling and not even looking at me for a second... I spoke to her but she never replied until a nurse came and told me that pia has been in coma for 3 years rajveer and she can only hear people speak... also at that time manyata came back and I got to know that her brother knows about us... uday looked at rajveer to see he was dead shock
Rajveer: omg r u serious? Pia... pia in hospital... in coma for 3 years... and we didn't know about all this...
Uday: when I met manyata after three years and the way she was still accusing me did make me think y the hell is she accusing me because pia must have told her but no how could pia tell because she was in coma.
Rajveer: I never knew pia would be in this state... and manyata she didn't bother to inform us pia was our friend but seems like she is busy only in accusing he said bitterly
Uday: she could have told u even u were pia and her friend
Rajveer: she wouldn't tell me uday because im sure in her mind all she remembered was me been ur friend so of course she wont tell me. But wait u said her brother knew about u guys so did he also accuse u?
Uday: even I asked him that if he also thinks that im responsible for pia's state but u know when manyata told him the truth he actually said I don't seem that type of person to take disadvantage of any girls body and he hopes that pia recovers soon so she can tell us what exactly happened
Rajveer: god its still a shocking news to me... but uday y did u say yes to get married to manyata like r u out of ur mind
Uday: I didn't want to rajveer but because of mom I had to say yes... I know she has been worried about me since a long time and u know I can never say no to her also she didn't force the decision on me and when she told me she wants me to get married and settle down I said yes but at that time I didn't know she was talking about manyata it was only when dadi told me later at that night and the next day when we went to manyata house and I said yes for the marriage
Rajveer: and y did she agree to get married to u. uday smirked
Uday: she didn't in fact she didn't say a word I told the family members that even manyata agrees for this wedding and poor girl was shocked and wasn't able to say anything... after a while jagat came and greeted rajveer and told him that everyone is waiting for them to come down for dinner... giriraj saw uday and jagat coming down along with rajveer
Giriraj: how r u rajveer beta he said getting up from his seat and hugging him
Rajveer: im good uncle how r u?
Giriraj: fit and fine and u came at the right time he said patting him on his shoulder... come lets have dinner... all sat down while the maid were serving food... uday noticed that unnati hasn't came yet

Vasu: beta she went to manyata house as she was saying she and j r going to help manyata get ready for the engagement
Jagat: what? Unnati should be here helping bro look handsome after all she is from the groom side
shanti: jagat she is only going to help manyata get ready for engagement but for the wedding she is going to be from the groom side
jagat: dadi u never know don't forget unnati is manyata Bhabhi friend so she can change sides easily
meanwhile at the rathrod mansion unnati, manyata and j were in vijay room sitting on the bed while vijay was laying on the couch lost in his own world
unnati: j tomorrow manyata will look the most beautiful out of us ... what do u say vijay she said looking at him but he didn't reply... the three girls looked at each other seeing vijay lost in thoughts
manyata: what happened to him all of a sudden... vijay on the other hand was lost thinking about dr shilpa there was just something about her that was attracting him towards her and he felt like meeting her again... all of a sudden j shook him bringing him back to reality
vijay: what is it j he said
j: what r u thinking about...unnati said something and u didn't reply back
vijay: I erm yh I was just thinking about work
j: seriously u and ur work... Any way have u checked if everything is ready for the engagement
vijay: yes it's all sorted as planned engagement is happening over here and other arrangement has been made.
J: tomorrow is going to be the best day of ur life didu u will be getting engaged to the most handsome man she said looking at unnati and then winked at her. Manyata was feeling uncomfortable and vijay saw that.
Unnati: j lets go to sleep now tomorrow we have to do a last minute check to make sure everything is perfectly fine and don't forget tomorrow there will be workers coming with flowers to decorate the hall.
J: come lets go and sleep... come didu
Manyata: yh good night vijay bhai. And three of them left to go their room (unnati was sleeping in the guest room)... Manyata went in her room and took her diary out of her wardrobe... she opened the balcony door and sat down on the floor... slowly pulling out a picture from the diary and looking at it painfully... after few minutes her eyes were becoming blurry due to the tears and in no time she started crying silently caressing the picture when all of a sudden she was pulled in a hug... she looked up to see vijay who was sitting next to her with his hands around her shoulder and with that she rested her head against his chest soaking his shirt with her tears while vijay didn't say anything and caressed her hair looking at the picture of raj which was on manyata lap... he stretched his other hand out and placed the picture properly inside the diary and closed it
Vijay: manu ur engagement sti... but he couldn't complete as manyata knew what he was going to say... she sat straight and wiped her tears and rested her head on his shoulder
Manyata: lets not talk about this vijay bhai I told u before y I cant back out any more its going to break many people heart... its best if we don't talk about this please
Vijay: and what r u doing silently crying breaking ur heart by looking at raj's picture while everyone else is happy about tomorrow not knowing the pain ur hiding... on top of that raj is unaware of this thing and we wont be able to hide it from him because tomorrow or another day its going to be in the news about two businessmen children getting engaged to each other and by that he is going to find out when he comes back to india.
Manyata: I hope he understands y I did this
Vijay: probably he would if u tell him urself
Manyata: I tried to but I wasn't able to and its probably too late
Vijay: sometimes in life we have to lose stuff to gain something... now come go to sleep u look dreadful like this he said looking at her tear-stained face... manyata got up picking up her diary and went inside her room vijay closed her balcony door and till then manyata went to keep the diary back inside the wardrobe... vijay went to her and cupped her face and kissed her on the forehead and left to go back to his room... manyata laid down on the bed pulling the blanket over her and went to sleep after a good 15mins
The next day everyone was doing a last minute check to get things ready at the rathord mansion unnati was helping j check what was done and what needed to be done while vijay was checking if the workers are doing everything properly... komal was on the phone telling brij to come before 5 as the engagement was around 6... whereas mrinalini was calling the caterers to tell them to come on time...
At the singh mansion vasu was getting clothes ready and also was getting manayata and udays ring out as she and komal had gone to get the rings and both decided that vasu will keep both of the rings with her... it was around 430 when brij came home and went to freshen up also vijay made his last business calls since he didn't go to work today... all were taking 30 minutes rest and thought of getting ready around 5 as they had guest to attend... where as manyata had to go and have a shower as j and unnati instructed her and till she was having a shower unnati and j got ready with their outfits and were applying makeup and manyata came out ... when j handed her lengha to her... manyata took it from her and went back to the washroom whereas j and unnati continued doing their makeup and once they were done they got manyata jewellery ready... manyata came out of the washroom unnati whistled (manyata was wearing a lengha-saree while unnati and jai bought lengha choli for themselves )
Unnati: manyata im sure u are going to make many people faint today.
J: exactly ur looking pretty like this just imagine how beautiful u will look once ur fully ready... now come here let me sort out ur duppata... once jai sorted out manyata duppata... unnati made her sit down in front of the dressing table and picked up the necklace from the jewellery box and placed it on manyata neck followed by the earrings and bangles... till then j was straightening manyata hair and then curling it from the bottom... unnati started to apply lip gloss on manyata lips and put maang tikka on her head... while jai did rest of the make up... after they sorted out manyata unnati and jai were sorting out their maang tikka and was applying perfume... by the time they
got ready it was around 5:50pm so they were doing last minute touch up on manyata and themselves when komal and mrinalin walked in and stood there looking at the three beauties in front of them

Mrinalini: vijay and brij and unnati ur family is coming in five minutes I just spoke to shanti and they r just nearly here so u both come down soon with manyata... with that komal and mrinalini left.
Unnati: manyata whats wrong... as she and j saw her twisting her fingers and breathing a bit fast
Manyata: don't know maybe feeling nervous and in fact she was feeling nervous
J: didu don't worry everything will be fine remember mom told us its normal for us girls to get nervous on their engagement and wedding day so chill and try to breath normally wait let me get u water... manyata nodded and unnati was rubbing manyata arm... manyata looked at unnati and hugged her and was feeling a bit better as unnati was stroking her back
Soon many guest came and also giriraj came with his family... rajveer was standing next to uday looking around while jagat was with vijay attending the guest... komal and vasu were setting the rings on the plate which was decorated with rose petals... Uday and rajveer went up to vijay and jagat
Uday: vijay this is my friend rajveer we both were together at uni... vijay looked at rajveer and shook hands with him.
Soon the girls came down with manyata. And she went and took everyone's blessing... she turned towards vijay seeing the boys standing together but then she caught rajveer face and was shocked to see him here after so long.
Rajveer: so wont anyone introduce me to these girls who said looking at unnati and j and completely avoided manyata.
Vijay: this is unnati udays and jagat sister and these two r my sister j and manyata he said pointing to them although he knew rajveer didn't need any introduction of manyata
Vasu: manyata beta u r looking really beautiful. I just cant wait till u come to our house. Manyata smiled sadly.
Shanti: come on uday and manyata it's time for the engagement she said taking both uday and manyata along her. The photographer who was there started to take pictures for the album
Everyone was looking at them when unnati bought the plates and first went to uday to give him the ring. He lifted her left hand and slided the ring on her ring finger and everyone clapped now it was manyata turn... manyata was looking at the ring that unnati held in front of her when unnati placed her hand on her shoulder giving her an encouraging look telling her to go ahead... manyata smiled at her and picked up the ring and lifted udays hand and put the ring on his finger and this time everyone clapped loudly while both of them gave fake smile to their family member...
Jagat: excuse me please take the picture of the couple he said to the photographer... bro bhabi come on pose... manyata and uday stood next to each other facing the camera
Unnati: uday bhai manyata is urs now so u can hold her while taking the picture she said teasingly... manveer looked at each other... and uday put his around manyata waist pulling her close to him and both smiled at the camera
After manveer got engaged some guest were chatting while some were getting food to eat... manyata saw rajveer on the phone who going away from the crowd and went towards him while uday was with giriraj, brij and vijay. Rajveer was talking on the phone to his parents and once he finished talking he turned around to go back when he saw manyata standing in front of him who was smiling at him meekly
Manyata: how r u rajveer
Rajveer: y do u care he said rudely.
Manyata: y r u saying that rajveer im seeing u after a long time and u... she couldn't complete as rajveer spoke
Rajveer: listen manyata if u think I will be all nice to after the way u accused my friend for something he hasn't done then forget it... on top of that u didn't consider telling us about pia
Manyata: rajveer I accused your friend for something that he did because he is responsible for pia state and after that how can u still support of him...y don't u understand I saw his watch there and also pia was saying udays name... rajveer laughed bitterly
Rajveer: r u for god damn serious... tell me one thing do u ever give him a chance to prove himself... no right?... u just took pia from here not only that u said u considered me as a friend but did u tell me about pia no! and y didn't u tell me because I was udays friend
Manyata: look its nothing like that... at that time I was worried about pia and was really hurt with what happened to her so I completely forgot to inform u... and this has nothing to do about being udays friend.
Rajveer: u know what manyata just let it be think whatever u want to... he didn't continue as he looked ahead of manyata and looked away angrily... manyata turned around to see uday who was looking at them seriously... Rajveer went away from there while uday still looked at manyata... both were looking at each other angrily... uday slowly started to walk towards manyata and when he was near her she tried to move away when he cornered her to the wall...he leaned forward leaving a small gap between them... manyata was waiting for him to say something but she was surprised when he moved away from her and walked of and she went back after few minutes.
The party was going in fool swing where everyone was dancing to a song even the elders joined in and once they finished j and unnati went to the front and grabbed everyone's attention
J: k everyone I hope u all r having fun now we want all the couples to come in middle and dance she said.
Unnati: and this will begin with our very own manyata and uday bhai dancing first... uday went towards manyata and held his hand out... manyata looked at everyone and knew she couldn't say no to this so she placed her hand on top of his and both walked to the middle... uday held on to manyata waist while she placed her hand on his shoulder and both moved their free hand and intertwined it together and slowly started dancing along the music with the lights go dim... soon the other couples started to come on stage even brig-komal and vasu and giri joined them... uday and manyata were looking at each other though others were looking at them as the most romantic couple but only they knew what the truth was... uday twirled manyata twice and he placed both of his hand on her waist while she rested her hands on his shoulder... but this time when both were looking at each other there was no anger in their eyes in fact both were lost in all the good times they had at uni until the last thing they remembered was seeing pia in that state... uday and manyata let go of each other and moved away while the other started to leave the dance floor too and all clapped for each other it was around 730.. and soon guest were starting to leave congratulating manveer... and now only the family members were left... manyata went straight to her room saying she was tired.
Giriraj: today everything went so well
Brij: exactly everyone was happy u can see how everyone enjoyed but yes I could say we dance after a long time.
Komal: manyata and uday looked so good together when they were dancing
Jai: this is nothing my lovely family members just wait and see how the other functions r going to be and yes there will also be lots of dancing... any ways im going to change.
Unnati: j wait I will come with u
Vasu: unnati r u coming home with us
Unnati: haan mom I am just getting my stuff and will also go and say bye to manyata... both started walking when j turned around
J: by the way uday bhiaya if u want to go and say bye to didu before unnati does u can go now. She said teasingly and everyone started to laugh.
Uday: its k j I already said bye to your didu.
J: when did u go and say bye we didn't see u
Jagat: j try to understand bro is just making an excuse they both probably planned to call each other late at night and have their romantic talk when we all have slept.
Unnati: for once I think jagat bhai makes sense
Jagat: I always make sense. And right now I think u should get ur stuff otherwise u will make us late which will delays bro plan ... j and unnati went...on the other hand manyata was taking of her jewellery and went to the washroom... once she came out she placed her outfit on the couch and was tying up her hair when unnati came inside
Manyata: unnati u need anything... unnati smiled
Unnati: no I just came to say bye as im going now
Manyata: I thought u were planning to stay
Unnati: I wish but maybe next time... manyata I am so happy for u and bhai she said hugging her friend

Unnati: before two weeks I promise after all if boys can have a bachelor hood party then let me tell u we r going to have a bachelorette party as we also have the right to celebrate ur last freedom day before getting married... but after that we will be staying the in same place she said winking making manyata smile

Unnati: anyways going to go now everyone is waiting so see u soon... both hugged each other and left the room... while manyata went to sleep not realizing she forgot to switch on her phone as she had turned it off during the engagement.
Around 1am everyone was sleeping peacefully in the rathord mansion... vijay was sleeping soundly when he could hear a sound which slowly started to irritate him... he picked up a pillow and placed it over his head but the sound was not going away when he slowly opened his eyes realising it was his phone that was ringing... he looking at it with his eyes half closed and half open and answered it without seeing it
Vijay: hello he said sleepily.
dr shilpa: hello im dr shilpa is this vijay?... vijay felt his sleep going away when he heard shilpa voice and now his eyes were wide open... he sat up on the bed
vijay : dr shilpa he said happily but tried to control himself and spoke normally... is everything k he said looking at the time
dr shilpa: actually vijay the nurse noticed pia breathing going uneven we shifted her to the ICU and checking her right now please come to the hospital ASAP... I tried to call manyata but her phone is switched off... vijay was shocked
vijay: I will just be there soon im leaving now.. vijay quickly got changed and decided not to wake manyata up and went straight to the hospital... And luckily in 20 mins he reached to the hospital due to less traffic and cars on the road... he quickly went to the reception to find out where pia is and went towards the ICU... when he reached there he saw dr shilpa coming out
dr shilpa: thanks for coming right now vijay.
Vijay: what happened to pia
Dr shilpa: like I said her breathing was uneven and to be honest this is the first reaction from her... nothing like this has happened to her before but
Vijay: but what
Dr shilpa: there was movement and she was trying to say something when she fainted
Vijay: she was trying to speak and fainted? How is she going to be after that
Dr shilpa: lets see just hope she responds before 24 hours... and I will be monitoring her personally and with that she left and went back into the ICU... it had been 4 hours when dr shilpa came out.
Vijay: any sign
Dr shilpa: a big sign pia has regained conscious and she is finally out of coma... vijay in his excitement hugged shilpa who was surprised... vijay realizing what he was doing let go awkwardly

Dr shilpa: its k I understand... I will give u some time alone with pia and after I will come back to do her check up... vijay went in and saw pia laying on the bed but this time sh looked at him... vijay had tears in her eyes... pia was trying to sit up but wasn't able to and vijay helped her... both were looking at each other with tears in their eyes when vijay leaned in and hugged her and after what seemed like a long time both let go of each other vijay wiped away her tears
Vijay: I am really happy to see u like this
Pia: i...i.. can actu...actually... speak she said crying
Vijay: u can pia... I still cant believe it though
Pia: wher...where is manyata
Vijay: she is at home dr shilpa tried to call her but her phone is switched off...pia slowly calmed down a bit
Pia: vijay bhai I want to see manyata... but what is the time. Vijay looked at his phone
Vijay: its 5am... Pia u will have to wait for few hours because I have to get manyata here without anyone knowing as nobody knows about u now and I cant tell anyone
Pia: it's k but vijay bhai last time when u came u mentioned about manyata and uday getting married when they were arguing is it true.
Vijay: yes they got engaged yesterday both r not happy... manyata is saying uday is the one who raped u and that's y u r in this state but uday said he hasn't done anything like that but now ur out of coma only u can tell what the truth is... pia started to get tears in her eyes

After vijay had left lalit (pia father) came into his room and was happy to see his daughter out of coma
Lalit: pia beta tell me who did this to u because of that person for three years u were in coma... I promise I will ruin that person life
Pia: dad... I don't know he was wearing a mask so i didn't see his face she said crying again
Lalit: shhh its k don't cry... im happy u r fine now but beta don't lose hope as god will punish that person for harming my daughter... Chal rest now and try to sleep peacefully he said caressing her head and due to the medicines pia fell asleep slowly
