He had showed her all the courage he could muster and depicted that he was unaffected by her indifference. But opposite was the truth. All his ways of reaching her heart were misleading. He has to think of something which would guarantee success. He thought of the first guide he consulted in every given situation, the bollywood movies. Surely it wouldn't be nice to deceieve her, but she hadn't left him another way. He locked himself in his room entire day and watched some movies for a reference and chanced upon a surefire trick. He picked up his mobile and dialed a number "Hello Tara, I need your help"

It was evening and Manyata felt strange that she hadn't seen Udayveer the whole day. The man who followed her like faithful pup was missing today. She casually asked a servant and got a curt reply " saab toh subah hi doctor sahiba ke saath bahar chale gaye"

He went out? That means he had decided it was futile to convince her about him. In the place of relief she found herself curious as to where he had taken Tara to. She would have to find out, but how? Call him up..but no she would call Tara.

"Hello Tara, main bore ho rahi thi akele me toh socha tumse baat kar loon, tum kaam me busy toh nahi hona?" Manyata asked with a hard attempt not to appear curious.

"arre nahi..main aur Udayveer bahar ghoomne gaye the..wapas aate waqt socha ki movie dekhle..phir time kaise guzra pata hi nahi chala.." Tara deliberately stressed on the last sentence.

"Tara, I thought I was your friend..tumne mujhe bataya bhi nahi" Manyata said.

The acidity in her words didn't go unnoticed by Tara. She flashed Uday a thumbs-up sign. "Manyata, tum ek kaam karo..tum bhi yahin aajao..hum Hotel Green house main hain" Tara quickly gave her the directions.

After Manyata bid her a hasty 'bye' Tara carefully disconnected the call and began to laugh. In between the mirth she told him "Uday mujhe laga tha tumhara plan kaam nahi karega, par it works. Jealousy track works everytime. Mubarak ho, tumhari jaaneman toofan banke aarahi hai" she extended her hand to congratulate him. He shook it thinking how it will be when Manyata sees them together hand in hand. Doing a couple dance.

Manyata looked at the phone in hand and felt disgusted. She got ready in flat 10 minutes and set out for the venue.

There was a traffic jam on her way to the hotel and that only got her more agitated. She couldn't place this strange emotion her mind was spewing. Though she knew that Tara was only having some harmless fun with Udayveer, she was still tense. Like a girlfriend would be for her beau or to be more specific a wife for her husband' she stopped the thought and began to think of the reason for her unwanted anxiety. Maybe she had been confined to the house since so long that her mind felt anxious to go out. That was it. She would go to the restaurant, let her hair down and have fun.

As she stepped inside, she could spot Uday and Tara sitting in the farthest corner of the Restuarant. Even from this distance, it was evident that they were really enjoying themselves. She gritted her teeth. The restaurant was a posh one replete with a bar and a dance floor. Manyata barged in and sat herself down beside them mumbling 'Hi guys'.

Uday opened his mouth to say something but Tara spoke up before him. "uffo Uday, main yahan baithe baithe bore ho gayi..lets have a dance together" she didn't give him a chance to decline her invitation and practically dragged him leaving Manyata gaping at them.

Uday suppressed his laughter very hardly and followed Tara. His plan was working in perfect order and if all went well it wouldn't be long before his love, loved him back, once again.

but what they wanted to do wasn't meant to be. When Tara looked back from the dance floor, she wasn't there. Manyata was gone. Uday spotted her receding figure near the lift outside and ran to catch up with her. The doctors had told him that she was prone to mood swings and he had just seen the example of that.

He reached the lift just in time and the lift began to move downwards. "Manyata woh.." before he could finish there was darkness in the tiny cubicle. "oh no" he heard her say. "daro mat, lagta hai light chali gayi..aajayegi..don't worry" he tried to calm her.

Precap: "yeh humari nayi dosti ke liye" she hit his clenched fist with hers doing a hi-five.

I updated this SS maybe after two months...😆 im not satisfied with the current chapter🤢 tell me how bad you guys found it?
