The rain pouring in sheets cleansed all the mud and muck from her body as she stood up to go inside. J was standing in the door with her head bowed. Looked like she was crying. "Kya hua J? tu ro kyon rahi hai?" Manyata asked. 'how can any one have such a drastic change in personality in such a short time' she thought but didn't say it aloud.
"nahi jiji..main theek hoon" J said. The expression on her face was as such that Manyata couldn't help but draw her near and give her a sympathetic hug.
"Jiji..main Armaan ko kuch nahi bata paayi..upar se mujhe Akash ka phone aaya tha ki woh kuch bada karne wala hai'" her words came out broken as she was crying.
"J'Akash sirf dhamkiyan de sakta hai'tu chinta mat kar'woh kuch nahi kar paayega" Manyata said.

But contrary to her words Akash, who was lying low since they came to shimla, was indeed making plans for them. Now he had joined hands with Yuddha and they had such a plan which would bring pain and grief to all those involved. If only everything went as they thought.

"Hello, Armaan ji? Main Jainandini bol rahi hoon" she said in a low voice over the phone. It was 12 in the night and she looked here and there to check if anyone was in the vicinity to hear her. There was no one. Manveer had long gone to sleep and sleep had just deserted J.
"aap ne is waqt kyon call kiya J? kuch zaroori baat hai?" Armaan said sleepily.
"haan baat toh zaroori hai..woh'"
Their conversation went for a long time and when J finally looked at the clock after replacing the receiver she was really surprised. Was it really 1AM in the night!

They were having breakfast next morning and everyone was silent, lost in their own world. J was thinking about the 'Plan' she and Armaan had made in the night and Veer was absently nibbling on a piece of bread.
"J..yeh Armaan tujhe kaisa lagta hai?" Manyata asked prompting J to jerk out of her thoughts.
"Umm..kya kaha jiji? Sorry maine suna nahi" J said.
Veer nudged Manyata but she ignored him. "Maine poocha ki tujhe lagta hai Armaan achcha aadmi hai?"
"nahi..i mean haan'I mean I don't know" J fumbled for words.
"matlab woh achcha aadmi nahi hai?" Manyata said
"maine aisa toh nahi kaha, par aap yeh kyon pooch rahi hain?" J said with an expressionless face.
"nahi..ab Mihika toh iss duniya me nahi hai..hume uske liye koi nayi ladki dhoondni chahiye hai na?" she winked at Veer.
"Manyata, ab tumne sab kuch chod kar matchmaking shuru karli kya? Waise idea bura nahi hai.." Veer said.
J didn't have an answer for this so she concentrated on her food while Veer was thinking about Manyata.
'this girl behaves like a kid sometimes and sometimes she behaves like a grandmother, well no one has been able to figure out a woman completely in this world' thought he.

It was 12.30 in the afternoon and J came out all dressed up and ready. "J, kahan jaa rahi ho?" Uday asked her.
"Jiju sa main bahar jaa rahi hoon'thoda kaam hai..main jaldi aajaungi..ok bye" J rushed out.
Veer was really bored and decided to entertain himself with the TV. He switched on some sports channel and just then door bell rung. Before he could get up Manyata went ahead and opened the door.
"Veeer!" she screamed. Two masked men stood there with guns in their hands.
One of them grabbed Manyata and held the gun to her temple. "koi chaalaki ki toh yeh jaan se jaayegi..chal bahar nikal" he said to Veer.
"tum log jo chaho woh le jao magar isko chod do" Veer raised both hands in the air, to show that he didn't have any weapons.
Manyata was really annoyed with Veer's behaviour now, she had expected him to fight the goons but he was behaving all scared.
"aey, hum yahan koi samaan nahi, ise le jaane aaye hain..chal re jaldi gaadi me daal ladki ko" the masked man said.
A sudden thought came up in Manyata's mind; could J be the perpetrator of this? Was she acting as a trojan horse for Akash? God save them if that's true, and god save her..
