CHAPTER TWELVE
The sun rose above walls of the palace ,the Devgarh palace was decorated like a newly wedded bride with flowers and lights hunging from the gigantic ancient red walls ,there was huge chaos as the servants ran all around arranging for things ,bridgraaj along with komal left early in the morning to the royal temple to perform a yagya for the happy married life of jainandini .Giriraaj along with DS was handling the guest and relatives ,Unnati ,Vijay and Menuka was indulge in decorating the mandaap .Manveer aware of all this were enrapped in each other arms but it was not long before with the shrill noise of the alarm which tore into there sweet dream and they both were awake they shared a beautiful eye lock as uday putting the strand of her hair back of her ears said
UDAY:good morning princess
MANYATA:morning to you my prince
UDAY:woa princess you are getting romantic day by day
MANYATA;i have to after all i cannot bear to loose my hubby to those skiny girls
UDAY:you have become very possessive but i love the new change
MANYATA:ok uday now get up we need to go
just then like a thunderstorm it hit her mind that she had sneeked into jai 's room and she would bring the hell down on earth if she was aware that her jiji was missing within a fraction of seconds she jumped off the bed and started to collect her clothes from the floor as uday sat innocently like a small kid and looked at her asking
UDAY:princess where are you going?
MANYATA:i need to rush to jai room i just pray she did not get up or she would bring the hell down for me
UDAY;i pray she got up and is all ready to eat you up that would be fun now
MANYATA:uday your sence of humour is very bad believe me
she gave a frosty look and rushed inside the bathroom she got into the her nightie she raced outside and went to jai room she thanked her stars as no one noticed her doing so and she finally reached jai room and saw her sitting on her bed and waiting for manyata before manyata could even speak jai said
JAI;so jiji where was you shall i know?
MANYATA;jai umm me i was ummm
she stammered as jai smiled and said
JAI:omg jiji you are getting so scared i was just pulling your legs i know you was with jijusa its ok now come help me to get ready
Manyata smiled at her as they pulled in for a warm hug and without wasting another minute they started to get ready according to rituals they starved the whole day and poor uday did not even get a single glanc of manyata .The dark light of sky encaptured the sky as the moon shone brightly over the whole palace ,jai was in a traditional red gaggra with jewels and manyata was into a pink netted sarri with diamond jewels around her suddenly there was a huge noise of music as little girls came screaming inside the sister understood the baraat has come jai sneeked a look and gave a cry of disguise manyata asked
MANYATA;What happened jai whats the matter
JAI:jiji look at jaggat i said him to wear a red sherwani so that we match but that dumbwit wore an orange one now we will look perfect mis match
MANYATA:my dear sisy material thing never matter the thing is this orange sherwani guy loves you with whole of his heart and you really think any guy in perfect red sherwani can love you more than jaggat
JAI:you are right jiji
soon after the bride was called down as manyata made jai sit beside jaggat in the mandaap ,and soon found a strong arms encircled around her waist it was uday her dearest hubby ,she laid her head on his shoulder as the marriage started

Chapter 13

The dark night sky kissed the walls of Jaigarh palace ,a week had passed after jai 's marriage ,both giriraaj and unnati was in states dealing with some buisness issues ,this week had been the best week in manveer 's life ,uday got plenty of quality time with manyata,it was eight thirty as manyata was extremely busy in the kitchen ,she was preparing the dinner ,she wanted a break news to him after dinner although she had not thought about an appropiate way but for her the first thing that came into her mind was preparing the dinner ,after a few hour of waiting finally uday was back home all exhorsted and tired he sat on the sofa and lossened his tie which was more like killing his neck , manyata handed him a glass of water with a sweet smile as he pulled her down in her embrace and she obediantly sat beside him ,he with a mishevious smirk ,he said

UDAY:so princess did you miss me

MANYATA: a lot and what about you?

UDAY:nah I did not miss you I have many younger female ladies working in the office so no chnce of missing you

MANYATA:oh really then fine go divorce me and marry those laddies

Manyata was hurt and dissapointed as she turned her face away but he softly whispered in her ears

UDAY:we miss those people who are far from us but manyata you are always near me in my heart so I never miss you

At this she furiously blushed and said

MANYATA;ok now enough of your flirtting lets go I have made the dinner tonight

At this she saw a change in his behaviour his grip around her waist became stronger as he looked at her with fireballs in his eyes and said under his breath

UDAY:What princess how many times I have said you to take care of yourself ,since three days you are sick and you should take bed rest

MANYATA;I know uday but'..

UDAY;no buts you are too careless and did you go to the doctor and got yourself checked let me guess no

MANYATA:uday please ok for now lets have dinner I will explain you everything after dinner till then I do not want you to utter even a single word

Uday obeyed her and kept shut while the headed for dinner ,uday was munching into his favourite dish ,he was very much intensly indulge into the disk as manyata cleared her throat and finally announced

MANYATA:uday I am pregnant

She looked at uday he was with his eyes wide open and stareing at her like a lunatic ,she was hell scared what if uday did not agree to take such responsibility at such an young age would he hate would he tell her to abord the baby would he divorce her all this thoughts ran inside her mind as she grew impatient and asked

MANYATA:uday please do not keep quite please say something

UDAY:so this was the news you needed to tell me

She nodded in an yes while his facial expression changed into a very serious and thoughtfull manner as he cleared his throat and said

UDAY:baby elephant

Manyata stared at him she was in a total confushed state as he smiled and replied to her

UDAY;from now I will call you baby elephant

MANYATA;what but why?

UDAY:because after some days you stomach will come out and you will look like one hahahaahah

Manyata was awestruck he was going to be a father and he himsefl was cracking jokes like a kid yes it was true manyata was being the mother of two kids her new born baby and her husband as she said a bit annoyed and a bit cutely

MANYATA:mr uday veer singh have you thougth that you are going to be a father and you should behave a little carefully you know like a matured man

UDAY:ok so tommorrow will bring the carpentars they will set the desing for pari s nursery ,they I will talk to Jaigarh most awarded school and pari will from play school till graduation she will do there only

MANYATA;Wait a second who is pari

UDAY;my daughter

MANYATA:and where is she?

UDAY; in your womb baby elephant

Manyata and uday passed each other a sweet smile and after dinner headed to there bedroom she slept in uday 's arms as he played with her hair and said

UDAY:did you tell any body about this?

MANYATA:no I wanted you to be the first to know about it

UDAY:so tomorrow I will call rajpurohitji and arrange a puja for our coming baby and we will inform every body there ok

MANYATA;but what about unnati and dad

UDAY;do not worry they will be back by tommorow

Uday loooked down at her eyes which were filled with tears as wipped it and asked

UDAY:whats the matter baby elephant why are you crying?

MANYATA: I am scared uday I am very scared after every sunshine god bring dark clouds in my ife what if I loose you I am very scared of loosing you please do not leave me ever

He pulled in for a stronger hug and said

UDAY:no I will never leave you trust ,me never

And the night passed away in a bliss the last night when they were sharing such warm bond ''..because things were going to change for the wrost ,time was going to ruin there life and leave them all scattered and broken ,nature was going to play its trick and destiny was going to ripe them apart away from each other

After 5 months

It was six o clock in the evening

An exited and dishevelled manyata was in Devgarh palace getting nursed by her family for her pregnancy ,as this was the custom in india ,jai sat beside her talking to the baby in her womb ,jai was changed now she was a shy ,responsible wife as she said the baby in the womb

JAI: hey baby I am your massi

just then jai noticed that manyata face turned all pale and hurt jai shook her and asked

JAI:whats the matter jiji are you still thinking about the converstaion last night MANYATA:yes jai I am really tensed situation are goiung from bad to worse our stocks are all at loss almost all our palaces are sold I think we soon have to go under bank crupty I want to help them but ''

Tears overpowered her speech it was true since the past some months devgarh was sufferng from hige financial loss and the family was in a mess ,komal was sick vijay tried his best but things were falling apart the international buisness was only the scop to save the family but if vijay went abroad then the buisness in indian had no efficient manager director so it was left undone jai wipped manyata tears and said to the baby in the womb again

JAI:baby see mamaa is again crying do something stop her from crying

just at this moment there was a shrill pain in her stomach as manyata said irritatingly

MANYATA: jai please do not talk to her seems likes she is not fond of you

JAI; she but how can you be sure that's it's a girl only jiji

MANYATA:your jijusa predicted

JAI;yea ofcourse only the chef knows the ingrediants of a dish

Just then both of the girls attention turned towards the door there he was exactly on time ,uday from day one he visited her regularly made her eat her dinner and called her a zillion time he was not near her but he made her feels he was always with her ,he was over protective about her as jai took her leave and he was seated beside manyata but today he was quite different he did not brong chocolates,flowers or teddy and he also said jai before leaving to call bridgraaj and DS in this room ,manyata caressed his checks and said

MANYATA;just more 4 moths then our pari will be with us

Uday shook her hand away rudely and looked away ,tears were swelling up in her eyes as she looked at him and asked

MANYATA:what s the matter uday why are you behaving in this way

UDAY:look manyata I cannot do it any more ok I was never inlove with you it was just the sake of my royal stag I had to get into this mess but no more this many days I supressed my inner anger but I do not want to be a family manok lets get divorce do not worry about the baby I will take full care and you can abord it with out being scared of any media scandal

MANYATA:uday I am in my five months I cannot abord the baby please

UDAY:then do whatever you want with this baby keep it thrown it bury it I really o not care
