Wish here with the 1st update to my FF. Manyata's thoughts are written in italics... I wont say anything else and post the update straight away so here it goes:
"CHAPTER # 1"Why Why Why I say Why???
Broward college ~ dream of my life where I always wanted to be!!!
But all the dreams are not like they show in the fairy tails we grow up reading. Such is my dream the dream which until now I thought was the destination of my life. But now it seems that the time I had spent to think about living this dream was just the waste of precious time of my life. All the students here come from one or the other elite family.
Talks going on behind Manyata (Some girls are talking)
Girl 1 : Where did u get that strap from?
Girl 2: This? Its from Vegas I heard there is a limited time sale there I went and bought it immediately.
Girl 1: Wow last time I went their I stayed at Beverely Wilshere hotel.
There is always talks of famous brands like OMEGA, Piaget, BMW, Audi, Cartire, ENZO, Oxette going around here, all the branded things, the destinations far away the things that a girl like me can only dream of' "Dream" yes that's it!! the difference between them and me is of
"Dream and Reality".
They live the life that a girl like me can only dream of. As long as I am here I am living this dream the dream of mine that now seems more like a nightmare to me. Everyone & everything here seems just out of my reach. I have been here for 2 years and haven't been able to make a single friend here.
Manyata sighs and puts her head on the desk. Suddenly she hears a voice
How are you?
The voice breaks her thought process. She raises her head and comes to know that the teacher has come to take class.
Teacher: Distribute these to all
(handing over some papers)
When Manyata gets the paper she comes to know that it is a form
College Trip Destination form her eyes become wide open at seeing the options being exotic places like Maldives, Canada, Bali, New Caledonie. Manyata sighs once again
Manyata thinking: "I am a commoner in this college so I have no choice but to just follow them."
Suddenly there is a shout all over the college
"It's the RED NOTICE"
Everyone becomes startled there is a pin drop silence in the class.
Voice still coming from the background
"It's the RED NOTICE"
A boy in the locker room sitting on his knees and panting vigorously his eyes filled with fear and anxiety, fixed on his locker, restlessness clear in his eyes.
In front of him hanging from top of his locker is a RED NOTICE
A plain long red banner on which is written "From Blizzards"
The boy breathing heavily; keeps on staring the notice with fear as if his brain has stopped working and he cant think of anyway to save himself from this trouble he has found himself in.
The voice from background still echoing all over college
"Ranbir Saberwal of 2nd Year got a RED NOTICE"
Back in class room
Teacher: Class is over
Says and runs away from the class.
Boy in class stands up and says lets go and join Kabir (the one who was announcing about the red notice)
Everyone says in unison: "Yeah!!!"
And all of them leave the class, run towards the corridor
Except Manyata who remains in the class. Frustration and disgust clear on her face.
On the other side of the college
The boy is running really fast as if he is running to save his life. Hurriedly climbing up the stairs in the hope to avoid the crowd of students which is heading towards him with all the force. But he had just finished climbing first set of stairs and started running in the corridors that he saw a group of students coming towards him. He quickly changed his direction and started running towards opposite end only to find himself surrounded by a huge group of students ready to pounce on him. He tried to run away but all of them started attacking him. He struggled hard but they were too many to fight against. They picked him up and started carrying him downstairs.
He shouted: "Let Go!!! Let me go!!"
And struggled hard but it was like as if they couldn't hear him and kept on carrying him downstairs.
Back in class room
Manyata has her head down and is continuously staring the form handed over by the teacher and is in deep thoughts
Manyata: Ughhh
Suddenly someone speaks pulling her out of her trance
Person: Manyata right?
Manyata surprised by the voice raises her head to see who it is and finds a girl standing in front of her leaning down and staring at her with questionable eyes. The girl seemed quite beautiful, had attractive eyes full of innocence.
Man-ya-ta? Girl again spoke out
Manyata nodded her head
Girl: I don't know much and I cant get to know what is happening around here. But is it really ok to not go there?
Manyata thinking
"A clueless Transfer student. If she knew how things work around here she would regret coming to Broward college."
Thinking this she stands up from her seat and starts walking outside from the class. Girl follows her and keeps walking behind her.
Girl: What happened to everyone? What is a red notice?
Manyata: Red Notice is a "declaration of war" from Blizzards.
Girl: Blizzards?
Manyata: They are 3rd Year students that control the college. If u go against Blizzards u get a RED NOTICE' then everyone in the college will come after you.
Everyone in the college hall is beating up that boy badly. Some students are cheering and some are just standing watching the boy get beaten. Amidst all that some are carrying couches to be placed in the hall.
Girl: Why do everyone follow them?
Manyata: Because They are sons and heir of rich and reputed families.
Girl: Isnt everyone here on the same level??
Manyata: No!! they are entirely on a different level...
The door to the hallway opens four boys enter the hall.
Manyata: This college has got vast amount of money from there families so they are promised a free reign at the college!!
The girls in the hallway scream it's the Blizzards!!! Everyone starts chanting
"The Blizzards!! The Blizzards!!"
Manyata: That's why I have never seen them wearing their uniforms.
The whole hall starts resounding with the chants of Blizzards!! Blizzards!! amidst the chants the Blizzards enter the hall. All girls going crazy over them screaming at the top of their voices.
"The Bizzards!! The Bizzards!! The Bizzards!! The Bizzards!! The Bizzards!!"
Manyata reaches the hallway. The Blizzards take their places on the couches set for them. Manyata watches the Blizzards through the crowd. Uday sitting just in front of her but he doesn't see her. Hall still resounding with chants. Just then a boy brings out that boy against whom the red notice was issued.
Boy: Yuvraj Uday this is the boy and his friend!
Uday leans forward a smirk appears on his face.
Uday: Lets start!!
Everyone cheers. Uday stands up from his couch starts walking slowly towards the boys just like a tiger moves towards its prey.
As soon as he reaches the boy, starts beating him up. A punch in his ribs then his stomach and finally a punch on the face is all it takes and he is lying down on the ground.
Uday: I told u to do it like this. Dont stand against The Blizzards but u didnt listen now this is what u get if u dare to stand against The Blizzards.
The other boy starts crying. Uday walks towards him with a amusing laugh on his face.
Uday: Don't waste my time! And puts a hard punch through his stomach which makes him fall down on ground but he still keeps on punching him harder and harder. Manyata is looking at all this from among the crowd. Disgust and hate visible on her face.
Just then Karan stands up from his couch and walks pass Uday who is still busy in beating the guy up, he moves through the crowd and catches a glimpse of Manyata keeps watching her for a swift moment she too looks at him then he moves pass her and goes further inside the college. Uday is still beating the boy up now he is kicking him in the ribs brutally, finally he finishes beating him. All the students cheering and clapping.
Boy from behind: As expected from Yuvraj Udayveer.. That was a perfect punch.
Just then Uday quickly turns towards that boy and plants a strong kick in his ribs making him fall on ground and writhe in pain.
Uday (with a smirk on his face) : Your methods really suck!! I don't have the time to waste on all this.
The other two of the blizzards stand up and say
"Its finished" "Game over"
Uday with a signature smirk on his face. All three of them leave the college. All the students cheering clapping & chanting their group name again.
Girls: Sooo cool!!
Manyata standing among them is clearly annoyed and disgusted with all these happenings around her. She rounds her fingers in anger making a fist and starts running as fast as she can and enter the fire exit door. Walks down the stairs
(Running out of breath breathing fast due to running and says while walking down the stairs) "Idiots all of them!! Whats so great about the blizzards? Don't get so happy from such a sneaky game. Freakin stupid students."
Goes further down & Stands near the railing
"Its so wrong to be getting so happy when your friends are getting beaten up. No way! No way!"
and shouts as loud as she can to release all her frustration and anger
"No way in the hell!!"
And she turns to leave the fire exit. Unaware of the fact that someone was behind her.
Just a few steps further down the stairs Karan was lying relaxing with a book on his face and got startled by Manyata's sudden shout and immediately removed the book from his face, saw manyata standing there
Manyata(feeling somewhat light after shouting and venting out her anger): Okay!
Karan gets up slightly and looks at Manyata going out through the door with a surprised and amusing look on his face.
Manyata back to class room and thinking to herself
Just a year and half to go! I have to endure all this till then and try to be quiet and not stand out among all. That's my only wish...
Precap:
Uday: I am the son and heir of the Jaigarh estate and groups on which half of India relies!! What do you know about the future of that half which relies on our finances? (Shouts) I asked What do you know!!
Manyata: Sto' (Shouts)Stop!!
Everyone stunned
Uday sees sideways with shock and stunned expression who said that. Stares Manyata'
That's all for today guyz I know there wasn't ManVeer encounter in this one but it was the 1st chappy so had to give the build up I really hope I didn't bore u guyz too much. Thanx for taking out time to read my crap update. Tell me if u didn't like something. Suggestions are always welcome
