sorry for the late update guys but i was waiting for my result...i got 94%... so here's chp 3 n i will post chp4 in the coming days...hope u guyz enjoy it!!!

CHAPTER 3

"You slapped YUVRAJ UDAYVEER SINGH!" Tania exclaimed.

"What? Are you guys out of your mind?" she asked startled.

"I guess u r out of your mind Manyata! U should have thought before slapping him" Aisha was hyperventilating.

Manyata was still in a state of shock. "woh halkat vedda Yuvraj ha? Aisa kase ho sakta ha?"

"halkat vedda?" Aisha repeated her words.

Just then she remembered something and her mouth fell open.

"Manyata kia yeh wahi ha jis ke bare me tm ne bataya tha?" Aisha asked stunned.

Manyata nodded.

"That's why u slapped him?" Aisha asked

"That and also because he annoyed me today at the mall" Manyata told them quietly.

"uff, Manyata tumhe pta ha tumne kis se panga liya ha? He is not going to spare u now!" Aisha was literally worried now.

"c'mon aisha tum is baat ko itna exaggerate kyu kar rai ho? Sirf ek mazak tha! R wo hoga yuvraj apne ghar me….for me he is just a wicked, flirty guy!" Manyata didn't even looked worried.

Yeh to waqt bataye ga Manyata ke who kia kar sakta ha…. Aisha thought

She tossed herself once again in the bed. It was one of her restless nights.

Manyata opened her eyes and sighed. Sunshine was peeking through the glass window. She wasn't feeling well. Stress and restlessness could be seen from her eyes clearly. All she remembered at that time were the screams of the woman.

She closed her eyes for a moment to compose her and then got up.

Everyone was waiting for her at the breakfast table.

Seeing them she tried to repress a smile but to no avail.

"Good morning" she greeted as she entered the dining room.

"Good morning jiji!" J greeted her with a grin.

"Good morning beta" Masi Anita saw the look on her face.

"Jiji didn't u slept all night?" J inquired after seeing those dark circles around her eyes.

Manyata was about to answer but the answer came from somewhere else. "Kisi ko raat bhar phone se fursat mile gi to hi soya jaye ga Na!"

Manyata was not in the mood of a fight so she simply ignored him.

"Really jiji? Aap apne bf se bate kar rai thi?" j asked in a cheery tone.

Manyata's glare stopped J from saying anything further.

"Manyata ap breakfast start kro!" Anita changed the topic.

"Masi mujhe bhook nai ha" she told Anita when she asked why was she only drinking juice.

"Oh! To log ab dieting par ha? Waise hona bhi chahiye yaar! Log to waise e ab buffalo lagne lag gaye ha!" Arnav was clearly making fun of her. J laughed at his comment.

Manyata walked out of the room.

"Manyata! Manyata beta baat to sune hamari!" Anita called her but she did not turn.

"Kuch ziada ho Gaya KIA?" Arnav asked J.

J shrugged.

"Ap dono kitni dafa mana kia ha ke unhe yun subha e subha tang mat ki kare! Ab ho gaye na wo naraz?" Anita rebuked them both.

In her room Manyata was sitting on the bed when Anita came in.

Anita: beta sab theek to ha? Ap to janti ha Arnav ki adat ko

Manyata did not reply her.

Anita: manayata?

M: Masi I had that nightmare again.

Manyata said looking at her.

Anita gazed at her in horror struck. It had been a long time since Manyata saw that dream again.

Anita: beta that is just a nightmare. Don't think about it

M: I can't stop thinking about it Masi! It always gives me chills! I just can't remove the image of that woman covered in blood and screaming. I just can't. And that child standing near her.

Manyata said shaking her head.

Just then Arnav entered her room

Arnav: knock knock May I come in?

He asked standing in front of her.

"mom, seems like someone had a hard night. Did u break up with ur bf?" Arnav asked grinning.

"whatever I do is none of ur business" Manyata snarled.

Arnav looked at her mother and signaled her to go.

"mein thori dair tak ati hu beta" Anita said getting up.

Arnav sat beside her and Manyata turned her head from him.

"yar kia ho gaya ha tumhe? Din ba din saru hoti ja rahi ho!" Arnav said turning her towards him.

Still no reply.

"to tum is tarha nai mano g…. thek hai phr" Arnav got up and took the jug from the table an poured it on Manyata.

She jumped from the sudden coolness of water. She looked up at him. He was standing near the door waiting for her reaction.

"I am gonna kill u!" she threatened him and took her chapel in one hand and aimed for him.

It fell on the nearby vase.

"ha! tumhari tarha tumhare nishane bhi kharab hote ja rae ha buffalo!"

Manyata picked her other shoe and ran for him.

Anita entered arnav's room. He was looking at a file but when he saw her, a smile crossed his face.

"kia baat ha maa? Ap itni raat ko yaha? Soi nai ab tak?" Arnav looked at her.

"ap bhi to nai soye!" She smiled at him.

"bus kuch kam reh gaya tha wohi complete kar raha tha"

"mom is everything alrite?" Anita was trying to say something but couldn't.

"arnav i was wondering y don't u get married?"

Arnav looked at her in utter shock.

He composed himself than smiled "waise khayal to p ka bohat naik ha, kyu na is par amal bhi kia jaye?"

Anita couldn't stop her joy. She embraced him

"or mom larki ki fikar ap mat kijye ga wo mein pehle e dhund chukka hu" he informed her.

"really? Who?" She was excited to know.

"ap ki e bhanji ha" he laughed.

Anita was overwhelmed at that moment.

Unnati was getting ready in her room when uday came.

"wah choti aj kdhir jane ki tiyari ha?" He grinned looking at her little sister.

Unnati turned back to see him.

"dada ap abhi tak ready nai hue? Mein ne apko btaya tha ke mujhe apni friend ki bday pe jana ha or us ne ap ko bhi invite kia ha" unnati reminded him.

"choti tumhari friend ki party mein ja kar hum kia kare ge? Humme bore hone ka koi shok nai ha" he passed a hand through his hand.

"dada she is my best friend or apne humme promise kia tha" unnati saddened her face.

Unnati knew he couldn't see her sad.

"acha baba theek ha chale jaye ge tumhare saath" he raised his both hands in surrender.

"yeh hoi na baat chale ab jaye jaldi se fresh ho jaye we r already getting late"

Uday went to his room to get dressed.

Everything looked perfect. Manyata, anita and arnav were busy in attending the guests. Just then j came down stairs. She looked like a real princess (which she really was but didn't know).manyata hugged her sister.

"you are looking gorgeous j" manyata grinned at her.

Arnav was mesmerized with her beauty. He kept staring at her. Manyata noticed this and went near him.

"ghorte e raho ge ya phr kuch bolo ge bhi?" She whispered in his ear.

"you look beautiful!" Arnav hugged and kissed j on the cheek.

J blushed and manyata giggled.

Uday and unnati had just entered the place. Uday heard manyata's giggle and turned his face towards her.

He couldn't take his eyes of her. She was looking just like a goddess of beauty. Her white dress hung beautifully on her and the way she laughed……

"ahem dada are u alrite?" Unnati called him.

He came out of his trance. J reached them.

"happy bday j" unnati hugged her

Uday's eyes kept searching for manyata but no sign of her.

"dada at least wish the birthday girl" unnati whispered in his ear

"happy birthday-" he looked over to j as if to ask her name.

"it's jaynandini" j smiled.

Uday felt a spasm of shock.

"unnati come with me manyata jiji will be waiting for you!" J took her hand and went to look for manyata.

Another spasm of shock for Uday.

Manyata is jaynandini's sister? It means that they both can be….

Uday felt a smirk creeping on his face. Just then he saw Manyata by the fourth pillar talking on the phone, laughing. He slowly went to her side. Manyata had her back at him so she didn't saw him approaching. He was standing so close to her that if Manyata turned her face she was likely to bump into him. And Manyata did turn her face and bumped into uday's chest. She immediately looked up and found herself face-to-face with Uday with his usual smirk.

Shock filled manyata's eyes and her mouth opened into a complete o.

"I know I look hot but you can close you mouth" Uday said looking at Manyata.

Manyata quickly changed her expression to a hard one.

"Tum mere ghar mein kya kar rahe ho? Tumhe andar kisne ana dia?" Manyata demanded

"Yuvraj Udayveer Singh ko rokne wala aj tak is dunya mein e nahi aya or jaha tak yaha ane ki baat ha to hume invite kia gaya ha" Uday looked straight into her eyes.

Manyata turned to leave but uday caught her hand and pulled her back.

"itni jaldi bhi kia ha jane ki? Abhi to pichla hisab baki ha!" he came more close to her.

He was caressing her face with his finger. Manyata felt her strength being drained from her body and she didn't know the reason why.

"You know what princess you can't hide from me! Wherever you will go I'll come and find you and there is going to be no escape this time, coz I am not gonna let you go" he winked at her.

Manyata couldn't stand this closeness. She regained her strength and looked Uday in his eyes and spoke with firmness in her voice.

"I am not your toy Yuvraj Udayveer Singh! Nor am I your property"

"Princess I always get what I want! Hum Rajwade ha apni pasand ki cheez hasil karna achi tarah jante ha" he smirked.

"Mein koi cheez nai hu! Tum Rajwade ho ya Khajwade I don't care a damn and you can't lay your hands on me" she smirked back.

"So you are challenging Yuvraj Udayveer Singh?" he was shocked to see the potential in Manyata, who wasn't even close to hyperventilating. Other girls would have fainted by now. But his expressions didn't give the shock away.

"Perhaps I am!" Manyata was in full form.

"Princess I have never lost a single challenge in my life" Udayveer was now more amused by her.

"To phr ulti ginti ginna shuru kardo!" and with that she left.

I'll show you what I am princess. Uday again smirked

J cut the cake and the first piece went into Manyata's mouth. The party was in full swing. Couples were dancing and so were J and Manyata. Manyata was dancing with one of her friend, when she was pulled back by strong arms. She looked up and there he was staring at her with his killer smirk. His grip was tight on her she tried to escape from his strong arms but couldn't. Suddenly Uday pulled Manyata closer and lifted her face so that it was next to his. There faces were inches apart. Uday felt himself losing in those dark brown eyes. Manyata was feeling helpless in his grip. She knew what was going to happen next. She closed her eyes. She could feel his warm breath. Just when Uday was about to kiss her, his phone buzzed.

He let go of Manyata and checked his phone. It was Dadi Sahib. She was calling him back. Manyata in the meanwhile had ran from there as fast as she could.

Uday called DS.

"Ghama ghani DS" uday greeted her.

"jeete rahiye Uday beta! Kaisey ha ap?" DS was pleased to hear his voice.

" mein bilkul theek hu Dadi Sahib. Ap se zarori baat karni thi"

"kahiye na Uday beta"

"Abhi nai DS, mein thori dair tak raj mahal pohanchata hu hum phir baat karte ha" Uday said in a serious tone.

"Sab theek to ha Uday?" DS could sense something was on his mind.

"Sab theek ha DS chinta ki koi baat nai ha" he assured her.

"Theek ha beta phr ap se mil ke e bat hogi"

"ji DS" and he disconnected the call.

His eyes searched for Manyata and he saw her standing by the stage with Anita, Arnav and jay.

I am going to give you a surprise very soon Princess. Uday thought.

What Uday didn't know was that a surprise was waiting for him.

Anita Kapoor was making an announcement.

"Ladies and Gentleman, thank you for coming here. I have a very important announcement to make"

Manyata was wondering what it could be and J was wondering the same. Arnav had a smile on his face, he knew what was all this about. Manyata saw that smile.

"What's the imp announcement?" she whispered in his ear

"Wait and listen" he winked at her.

Now Manyata was more curious to hear what it was.

Anita Kapoor carried on "As you know that My niece Manyata has returned back-" she looked at manyata with a smile and she smiled back.

"So I have decided to fix Manyata's roka with my son Arnav Kapoor!" As soon as she ended the claps begin.
