I totally agree with you. He is deliberately showing the bad boy attitude in front of the media (in the pre cap), so that the attention from M's character defamation shifts to UV. This is TRUE LOVE. I just hope M sees it. Sone pe suhaga hoga...if M too tries to protect UV's character (after he is shown taking alcohol)...by saying amazing one liner to the media!!! It will be two lovers...totally in love but not with each other...we will get to see some amazing chemistry...yipeee !!!

And yes, I think he is trying to save/ salvage her reputation or what is left of it as best as he can. He is putting himself on the line but then he's the yuvraaj and he's drinking alcohol in a press conference is much less scandalous than Manyata's eloping news. He's a real soul mate... withstanding every test that Manyata brings on

very true cari all his words & actions r deliberate so the media attractions gets away from Manyata...also the whole scene & situation gets changed...this situation gets in control all the eyes from Manyata harassing situation gets changed...
Uday knows the media & people so well he knows how to play around with them...at same time saving the dignity of M & family...

manyata as a character is prolly the most loosely framed no strenght just whinny and blaming and then asknig maafi!! isomehow want manyata to suffer as much as uday n i feel udays loves her more and miuch more deeper then she loves( saysso) him!!
