Most of us have brothers, husbands, sons, fathers like Akash and we dont consider them as useless and lack style. We are happy with them as they are. Now how come many are treating Akash with such contempt? What was his crime? Looking ordinary like one of us. Not living in mahals? Or still in love with the person whom he loved with all his heart?

I hope that he will become quite rich, help his chawl friends and marry an ordinary educated girl who will love him. And Maanyata also must decide once and for all. What she wants in life? She cannot have the cake and eat it too.

There is something called 'Freedom Of Choice'. If someone doesn't hit your 'like' button, it simply means your instincts don't accept him/her , irrespective of what the person looks like or what his bank balance looks like.

Talking of brothers, husbands and sons, am sure no member here has a male relative who stops a girl from accepting her bloodline, calls her family a villain camp, is insecure of her moving ahead in life , is caught in a girl's cupboard and makes shameless 'i will rescue you' garbage while humiliating the family, spends the office time on BB and is more obsessed with the girl's friend than her.

As for your reference of RNBDJ, its irrelevant here. Suriji released Taani to stand the true test of love. Aakash is not even a shadow of that.
I can see the film again , again, and again and my take would still be the same.

Strictly my opinion.

Suraj is a fictional character and he himself was moving with his wife. He did not release her with some other man.

Come on, in real life our men are more like Akash, insecure. Any man will be insecure under such circumstances. Dont girls feel insecure when they see their men with more stunning girls? Dont exaggerate ordinary weaknesses into crimes. The asli criminal is the other one who used his powers to manipulate, jail and torture.Because of these rich and influential people, the ordinary people suffer. These people use all their influence to make even law their slaves.

Suraj's Sandhya doesn't love another man as of now. So, what will he release her from? Suraj has no parallels with Aakash at all in characterization except humble background.

For the highlighted portion - If that is your generalized opinion for all rich and influential people , then, i don't know what to say , honestly. Before you or anyone makes a sweeping generalizing statement about the rich and the powerful, please remember , you do NOT know every rich and powerful people in this world. Evil doesn't look at your bank accounts before knocking in.

We never said that UV is an detoxed angel. Similarly, we do not say or accept that Aakash is a spotless white sheet.

Talking of 'insecurity' being a common factor , well, that breed messes up everything in their lives. No sympathy for that at all.

I am not talking about Suraj in DABH. I am talking about Suri in Rab ne Bana di Jodi movie with SRK playing the geek and the stylish. It should have been Suri instead of Suraj.

how can he expect her to put him first over n above everything...over UV wud still b understandable ...but also her family!!!!! ...c'mon that's not very noble!!!
