Soo, being the Late Latif that I am I have FINALLY watched today's episode, and only have one question or request.
M BETTER APOLOGISE TO DS.
She over-reacted before getting all of the facts (nothing new there...🤔) and then implimented her Vow of silence and eating strike.
I will give her two sets of advice, because I myself am guilty of doing both.
(1) Sure, giving the silent treatment may seem nice and all: BUT you need to actually open your mouth to APOLOGIZE for all the crap you say, the tone you use once you figure out that you WERE INCORRECT. It wasnt DS, it was Uday who did it- go take your anger out on him- not on your grandmother.
(2) Humph. the good old "I won't eat, to punish you" trick that works when you're 2, because parents can't bare you to go hungry- NOT TWENTY. trust me after a point it literally becomes this, "Fine, you don't want to eat, don't get, I don't give a crap" I've been there and know how it goes. Be GREATFUL that you have food on your plate, and not arrogent enough to think your above it. That applies to ALL of us.
Honestly, I HATE it when People are extreamly rude to their elders, on occasion I've got into it with my mother, and I have flet like Crap after the fact, and I've always understood that no matter how hot headed of a person you are, one should ALWAYS get the facts before flipping out, especially if its your elders involved. (I am speaking from expereince!!!!! Trust me on this one!!!)
Just because not all parent cry infront of their children, doesnt mean that words don't hurt them- or in M's case actions- they do. They are people too. (also expereince!)
It pains me that M is able to feel empathy for Amma, and Akash's mom, but couldnt give two flying you know what's about DS. It's REDICULOUS.
