CV trying to make audience to like M

I think by the way their starting to put M in a better light with her saying she respects her family and accepts them, the CV are trying to make the audience to like her again. I mean after all she is the main character and the whole show is based on her. So if the audiences don't like her which most people don't and go as far as calling her annoying and irritating the show will flop. From what I have been reading in the forum I feel like most fail to connect and understand M. I, myself find it very hard to connect and sympathize with her. I just can't seem to understand why does it seem so hard for her to connect with family. I understand that she was gone for 16 years and needs time to adjust to her family and accept them but most of the time it seems like she easily offers love and respect to the poor but can't do the same for her family. Is it because of the differences between her and the family meaning their rich and she grew up being poor? Is it specifically them being royals and having rules and regulations? I understand the whole being stubborn and not wanting to do what others tell you but I feel like the main thing she feels is guilt. She feels like the closer she will get to her family the further she will go from her past, friends and the life she knew. This new promo has been shown a lot and I think this is the turning point in the show because once she starts behaving and changing into Rajkumari Manyata she will start having differences with Akash and might get into pity fights which will eventually drive them apart.

Do tell what is going in your mind'.😉

P.S. Did anyone else notice that ever since the Akash in the closet drama has started Manyata looks to have a little make up on and looks prettier than before the whole thing? 😆

Hi Nightstarr,
I agree with all your points. The cvs are now promoting Manyeta in a better light, otherwise the audience won't connect to her. I think also they have now reduced the show to 30 minutes so that is a turning point in the whole drama.
I also noticed the makeup etc...maybe they are trying to slowly change Manyeta into Rajkumari Manyeta but not have a HUGE jump from Moniya to Manyeta in looks...
I think they realised that the whole drab Moniya look needed to be changed and not only that, her kurta was a little better (red) than that awful brown thing she used to wear before...
Priyal is very pretty and like Uday, she looks good in almost anything she wears but better clothes and make up bring out her looks more.
Thanks for your points, they are all valid and important.

Haha yea i know how you feel as I feel the same. In one of my other posts i pointed out how at the beginning of the show she seemed like a very mature, responsible, know right from wrong, free spirited, respect girl who respected elders aka her Amma at the chawl and was nice to her peers but once she was brought the palace she started acting like a kid who causes a new set up drama every single morning. I think CV thought the audience would find her antics funny and endearing? But it backfired as the more antics she pulled the more unbearable and childish she seemed to audience.

Yea i officially started disliking the color brown because it seemed like thats all we would see on her. But the show seemed to be going on the right path. Lets hope it gets better from here on :)

I think what CVs are really trying to do is portray each character right in his/her own way and their actions justifiable...

The CVs showed that Manyata does respect her family but she also values her love for Akash...

The family loves Manyata and forgave her mistake but want her to forget Akash because to them only Prince UdayVeer is right for their daughter.

Komal as a mother feels for her daughter but can't go against her husband and mother-in-law because she knows they are right in their thinking.

Brijraj as a father forgave Manyata and went so far as to tell her that he will guide her in her journey of being a Princess but could not control his anger when Manyata refused to let go of Akash.

Rajmata as a grandmother forgave Manyata but now as a Rajmata she will make certain to transform Manyata to a Princess.

Prince UdayVeer took his revenge along with saving both the families reputation. He could have chosen a different alternative to save the family's reputation but he didn't because he wanted to punish Akash.

Nicely put Angerlkiss! I agree with most of your characterization but not so much in regards to Manyata because I feel like CV went a little overboard with how M acted when she was at the palace. I mean I know we come from middle or lower class families and if we taught anything is manners and values so then how come Manyata couldn't even drink juice without making noise? Or eat food and make noise while doing so. I am not saying your wrong but I feel like the way she was portrayed at the beginning and the things she started doing when she got to palace. I understand all the things that she had to adjust in regards to rules and regulations of royals but I feel like her daily antics that annoyed the royals went a little too far...but again its just my opinion 😊

Great analysis..every word is right. Also NightStarr your points are also genuine. I was very irritated in my last post and I said I will give one more month and then I will stop watching this show because M's behavier is being stretched Little too much. Yeah I also analyzed her charcter that ok this girl never had a mother to teach her right and wrong. Murari used to leave her alone at home for his occupation. So I was thinking these could be the reason to behave that wild for M but it was getting little boring but now wooo Wow wow wow (in UV's tone).
It is getting very interesting specially that press conference. I couldn't sleep whole weekend waiting for today's epiode. Today's episode was really good one.. Now looks like we will have real good princess diary or whitney story type scenes..

I believe Manyata's behavior after coming to the palace was intentional... She exaggerated her lack of manners - maybe she wanted to rebel against the family or maybe because she wanted them to be tired of her outrageous behavior so that they themselves will send her back to the chawl...
I do agree with you on the fact that the CVs were not consistent with Manyata's character after she came back to the mahal... she kept doing things that no normal person would do even a chawl wala... she was being ridiculous and her every action was exaggerated too much...
